 I did this thing, that I never have done before, left up my tree. And yesterday I did this other thing. I made decorative  hearts to hang on  my tree. I looked at several places for hearts to  hang on the tree and decided that I was not putting out a lot  of money to do this. SO... I took some poster board I had at home. Purchased some scrapbook paper that got may attention and  used a stencil I had. I drew hearts on  my poster board using the stencil. Then I flipped the poster board over, Took glue and applied the scrapbook paper to that side. Once dry I  flipped back over to the heart outline and  cut that out. I was going to hang them on jute using mini close pin holders but since my craftroom is a wreck  I just decided to place them on the branches of the tree. I actually did two sizes of hearts. I love it.  So this Jan. we have lost a few well known  stars. First (although not in Jan) But on new years eve.... we lost Bett...

 I ran in Hobby Lobby today and walked around looking at things.  I noticed a theme in art work... a washed out look,  no pops of color. Can't really decide on how I feel about this. I sort of like but then  I like a pop of color also... just not sure.  On another note, I don't like white. Not a fan of white walls, cabinets or back splashes. I don't like wearing white either.  I like off white, ivory and even  colors that lean to a light beige. With that said, it has been YEARS since I have been able to find ivory or off white shirts in the stores. Yesterday I was in Penney's to  pay my bill and WOW, ivory shirts all over. I had to stop at Wally World also and they even had ivory shirts. I love it.   Do you tend to prefer certain  colors in what you wear and  decorate with? When decorating do you like pops of color or the above washed out look? Pam

Betsy over at  https://beth-wildwoodhome.blogspot.com/ said that they love cornbread and would love to know how I make my rosemary cornbread.  Betsy, that is just something I played with and threw together but here you go... I use yellow cornmeal.  Also, since I am making just for me, I just dip  out the cornmeal  I want. Maybe a cup.. Dash of salt, one egg and hot water to make it like  just right, you  know how runny or not to make it. I put about a 1/4 teaspoon  of dried Rosemary. Mix this up. Oil in  skillet, just enough to cover the bottom. Let it heat up, a spoonful of cornmeal and fry till that side is done, and  flip.  When I take it up  while its hot, a touch of butter and some  kosher salt.  I have also made it  with parmesan cheese in there.  Milk and bread is the go to when southern states call for snow.  I am not that way cause I don't buy milk or bread hardly ever. But this is funny. MACON COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) —  Bread and milk:they're the hardest things to find in grocery stores when a winter storm is looming. As snow fell across Middle Tennessee on Sunday, one family in Macon County skipped the traditional snowman and built a snow sculpture called "Our Tribute to Milk."   "[Milk] is one of the most sought after, must have necessities of a snowstorm," Shaun Trent told FOX 17 News.   Experts have  linked  "panic buying" ahead of winter storms to psychological factors like anxiety and loss of control. Others say it's less complicated: buyers leave grocery store shelves empty simply because everyone else is doing it.
