True Story Tuesday -The Win - Chase Montgomery

Image
Meet my nephew, Chase Montgomery, started racing go-carts at the age of 13 or 14. From there, things really started to pick up. By 2000, he was racing at the Nashville Fairgrounds and from there he went into ARCA racing. In 2002, he became runner up as Rookie of the Year. In 2003 Chase and Alice Cooper went into partnership together. I was blown away and could not believe that my 19 yr.old nephew was going to be in partnership with the most controversial rock star of the 70's. Chase told me that Alice was a very nice and taught Sunday school. If I am not mistaken Chase and Alice even took in some golfing together. Also that year Chase won the pole position for the ARCA 200 in Daytona, at the same time earning the record as the youngest driver to sit on the pole in Daytona. Racing ARCA, he took home first place at Daytona Motor Speedway in 2003. The next weekend Chase raced his first BUSCH race and did really well for himself, coming in 10th place. From BUSCH Chase moved int

Its free therapy day over at http://thedailydribbles.blogspot.com/ Jump on over there and check out some more free post where we thank all the crappy things that have taken place in our life this week. First I want to thank MOTHER NATURE that dumped all that rain on us here in Tennessee last Saturday and Sunday. I wore myself out Sunday running from the back door where I was watching the back half of my creek doing this... and then to the front door where I was watching the front half of my creek doing this.... This is my drive way, on the other side of the bushes is my creek. I want to also say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to those same rains that has put my fair city of Nashville under water. If dealing with all this has not been enough... THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the staff at the sleep doctors office that not only sound so uncaring but apparently are just as incompetent! Three weeks it took me to get an appointment to the sleep doctor (whose staff I had issues with before)...... to......m

Nashville Under Water

Image
Hello Blog Friends, If you have been following the news at all I am sure you have heard of Nashville, TN. flooding. Saturday started off with rains that continued through the day and into the night. As the evening hours drew near, our fair city started to sink. Keep in mind also, that this is not just effecting the county that Nashville is in, this is actually so wide spread that it is effecting most Tennessee counties. The rains came and they stayed. It rained all day Saturday and into the night where at some point it actually let up. Come Sunday morning with the storms moving in again and carrying chances of tornado's, my fair city, hunkered down. Sunday brought rains so heavy that you could not even see across the street, and unlike usual it did not move out fast. It rained pretty much like that all day. With the creeks, stream and rivers taking on more then they can handle, flooding started. Homes and business under water, people losing all they have. And lifes being lost. When
