Yep.... this is me!  HAHA Today I decided to pull out the big camera and Lily was so willing to be my model. Later, Dakota was on the couch and Lily joined him. There was no posing on my part for these pics. These two just seemed to be in the right place at the right time.... TOGETHER! Thanks for stopping in to visit my babies, 

My daughter is 36.5 yrs old but when she was 7 here granny got her a cookbook. We made several things out of this book. But one that I have made a lot over the years has been the banana bread. The first time I made it I realized that it was missing some special ingredients... like cinnamon. So I decided to add that all with nutmeg  and  allspice. Pretty good stuff. The other day I thought maybe I  should make apple bread using the directions to the banana bread but putting canned apples instead.  It turned out  GREAT. If you want to give it a try here are the directions. Banana Bread or Apple Bread 3/4 cup sugar - I used raw stevia  1 1/2 cup mashed bananas (3larger) or one 21 oz can of apple pie filling 3/4 cup veg oil 2 eggs 2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 cup nuts (if you like) 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoon of vanilla 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/

It is not often that you can pull anything over on  my oldest brother Ray, but my sis in law Lori was able to pull off a surprise bday  party for him. You see Ray's bday is on the 23rd and Lori's daughter Jessica's bday is on the 24th.  Lori told Ray that Jessica was having a party at their other home and they needed to take her gift to her and check on things. Ray and Lori coming in carrying  Jessica's birthday.  This is about the time Ray realized it was for him. (flash did not fire, so photo not so good). He was SURPRISED. Folks he had not seen in  years were there.  This is the cake the one of my best friends bakery made. Nice job. Still on the color kick for doors and stuff! HAHA This painted lady is just a couple of blocks from my house.  Hard to tell all the different colors. Need to take my camera over to  get a better shot. Saw this one the other day...that color is popping. And this is a bright blue! I think I posted this pink one the other day.... So yesterday was the party for my brothers 60th bday.  It was catered and one of my oldest friends who owns a bakery made the cakes.  But....I made banana bread and apple bread to take. Picked up some cookies and sweet and unsweet tea also.  Nope...I have not loaded the pics yet but I will do my best to  get to that tomorrow. Found some cool  mailboxes the other day. A gaggle of geese! This one is really cool. 60 lbs down.  And of course the black  is slimmer. Been feeding my brothers black cat Zora while they are in Fla. and
