Lori's Talent

Image
Quilting!   A few years ago my sister in law, Lori decided to make a quilt and from there she just took off.   One after another as gifts mostly.     One side       The other side.     Big one. Beautiful.   This one was for her Dad's 80th Birthday.   Close up.   Love this one.   The latest she was working on last week.   And the finished product.   Lori does such an amazing job with her quilts...very proud of her.   Photo's not taken by me.   Thanks for stopping in, Pam

I love Horses

Image
I love horses. Only been riding once in my life and that was before, I was 20 yrs old.   I have been on the back of a 16 hand horses but my niece held the reins and walked us.   Not riding does not change the fact that I think they are smart, and beautiful... and I LOVE THEM..   These pics were taken at my boyfriends house. He has a barn that he rents out to a man for boarding.   Not sure which horse this is... I have yet to learn them all.     Beautiful.   Swatting at flys!   This is Nibbles. His back either was itching or he was showing off!   He is adorable.   And I have had Buck in my blog before. His mom rents a stall at the barn. He has never been riden, he is about 2 yrs old. And a beauty!   Look at that stand.    Cocking his head.   And showing off.   I love this pic. Rusty is the dog of the guy that rents a house from Chris. Him and Buck have formed a frie

Danny and Gwen - Part 1

A lot of my photo shoots come through facebook, the last event, a wedding that I shot was no different.   I have known Danny since we were in elementary school. I was a couple of years older than him but I spent a lot of time+ with his sister, Janet.   Janet and her mom hired me to shoot Danny's wedding. My pleasure for sure.   Due to massive migraines last week I was unable to edit photos so I worked on them this weekend.   This first shot was a photo I took of a photo on my laptop... Prettier in first generation but I was unable to hook up to the internet, and I wanted to post this.     Still working on pics but here are a couple to sample.   More to come. Thanks for stopping in, Pam

The Weekend

Not a good pic of Chris since I was shooting from inside and the sun was behind his back.. But this is him checking out a mower the is fixing.     This baby is Clover. Such a sweetie. Just a couple of weeks ago the dark was only around the eyes. She is losing he baby hair and the dark is the color she will be.   Can't wait to see her coloring all over when she turns.   I shot a wedding Saturday night. Gwen and Danny. I have known Danny since I was in elementry school even though he was a couple yrs younger than I. His sister Janet was my age, that is how I met Danny.   I have seen him around and about but I have not seen Janet since we graduated in 1978. 36 years! Wow... and she looked as beautiful as she did back then.   These pics were shot with the cell, I will start to edit the shoot this evening after work.   This was girls dance!   It finally picked up and more and more ladies join

3 of Many - Horses

Chris, the man in my life rents his barn for boarding horses.   I have no clue what this baby's name is. But so pretty.     This if Buck. He is owned by Jan. He is a lot of fun to watch. Has never been saddled or ridden yet. Buck is about 2 yrs old.     Meet Nibbles.   And this is Madison with Nibbles. She was going to be showing her that evening.   Madison is like the horse whisper. I can stand there trying to get them to come to the fence....she walks up, they come!   Thanks for stopping in, Pam

The Yard - Again

Image
Can't remember it I showed this little simple project before or not.... if not, good! If so, ignore!   I got this iron piece at Goodwill for 2.99. Nice and heavy piece. My first thoughts were to attach a small bowl and fill with birdseed. Well, that thought left as fast as it came to me! A problem I seem to have...lol     Anyway, hung it outside on my shepards hook and with E6000 I attached an outside solar light. Looks great out by the shed.   Yucca plant. Wanted one of these forever and about 20 yrs ago a woman I worked with brought me one from her yard. I love it.     About to start blooming.     Then it is in full bloom..   Until the rain last night and there were NO blooms left on it.   Hosta is about to start blooming also. I have had hosta that I brought from my other house planted in this yard for 22 yrs. I thin them out every so often and give them away.   Now I am spreading
