Wonky Heart and RIP

Image
I love finding little things in other objects, always brings a smile. I saw this wonky heart at the wedding venue in a room divider yesterday.  I also took one last Christmas themed shot. I have enjoyed the colors, the lights and  the music more so this year in several years....I think I just needed that beauty.  That brightness.  RIP Dawn Wells. Yet another one bites the dust thanks to COVID. She was 82. Not sure what took Mrs. Frankie but she left this world yesterday. I have known Mrs. Frankie for the last 40 years when her son, Roger came into  the life of one of my best friends, Julie. I will be attending the visitation for Mrs. Frankie tomorrow. Such a sweet and lovely hearted woman. She was 86.  RIP Mrs. Frankie.  Pam

Weddings and the Moon

Image
Assisted in two weddings Tuesday  morn. Back to back.  Normally I work on Tuesdays in  town but since my building is a few blocks from where the RV bomb went off on Christmas day, the building is still suffering from AT&T issues to it.  We have been closed and will be closed Wed. also.  Billing will just take place next week.  Let Chey out earlier this evening  and saw the moon peeking out through the branches of the pine trees. Ran in and got the camera. Made for a beautiful shot last night!! Pam

Christmas Day Bomb

Image
Christmas Day.......and a BOMB. What the hell?  Five thirty am, gun shots in downtown Nashville. Police arrive to area and there is a recording on an RV that advises everyone to stay away from the RV. Then the recording states that the RV will blow up in 15 minutes. Thanks to the police for going door to door in this upper buildings to get people out of the apartments. No one lost their life. Except the idiot that blew the RV. SUICIDE.  He could have killed someone else. And the bomb destroyed 41 buildings. These buildings were built in  the 1800's. Destroyed part of Nashville's  historical section of  town.  My heart breaks for those that feel they  have to kill themselves but it breaks more for those that decide to do it in  this way where they can hurt others Stay at home and kill yourself ! Don't do it where others can be hurt.  Not only that, he parked in front of the AT&T hub which knocked out  my phone, text, internet and later my TV.  At brothers house right no

Merry Christmas

Image
Christmas Eve was spent over at James and Julies for Taco Soup dinner. Left to right is Lisa, Julie's cousin, me, Julie and James.  I love that J and J love their welcome sign I made them.  On the way home from J and J's it started to spit snow. By the time I got home it was really snowing.  However I just checked and it has stopped. BUT... two hours away in Knoxville, my niece Holly is having a white  Christmas. WOW.... a white Christmas would be amazing. Today I am heading to Amber's for  Christmas. Everleigh will also be there.  Hoping you all have a very Merry Christmas. Pam

Merry Christmas Eve to All

Image
Merry Christmas Eve! Here's hoping you have a great  eve. Last night I cooked dinner for Theresa to come over so we could do  Christmas.  I laid out some dessert.  Made some amazing rosemary  parmesan cheese cornbread. I roasted carrots then once done I put them in a brown butter sauce. I also made a green bean casserole. Bob Evans potato's which are so good. And this for the meat. Tuesday night sis in law,  Kim, her sister, her niece and I went to the theater to see It's a Wonderful Life. Kim has been doing it for  years at Christmas. This made my third time to go. I skipped last year.   Also on Tue, sun almost up I took this pic of the state capitol between two other buildings as I was going into to work. I mentioned the other day that I was shooting a wedding  on Monday.  Those will be posted in a later post but here are some pics after the wedding of Julie and I. Okay, so we are not always  serious! haha NEVER! My Christmas deer. haha. Have a very Merry Christmas Eve.
