See the rack with the door knobs? That is what I use to hang my necklaces on but I had so many necklaces that they were all getting messed up and wrapped together. Sometimes it became a struggle just to grab something to wear that day... Back in October I had a booth in a local Octoberfest. To display jewelry that I made, I fixed up this frame to display everything on. Using a 16x20 frame, some screen and some old fashion curtain hooks I made this.... It is now hanging behind my bedroom door to help keep my jewelry hanging nice and neat. Hopefully this will make grabbing a necklace to wear a bit easier. While watching TV this evening after a long day helping my Mom with a yard sale, I made these for my friend Debbie. She had seen some just like this that I did for Octoberfest but in a different color. I actually found some more candle holders just like the others at Goodwill... 99 cents each. True Story Tuesday - No Blood Left

Image
When my son was little, about 5 or so, I had been to the doctor to have allergy testing done. With that I had holes all up and down my back…. Later that week I had given blood to the Red Cross through work. When I picked up my son at Day Care after giving blood, he wanted to know why my arm had a bandage on it. I laughed and told him I had given blood but with all the holes in my back I bet if I was to drink water it would all leak out from all my holes. Cory looked at me really thoughtful for a minute then he got a really concerned look on his face and he said “don’t do that anymore”….I had to ask don’t do what anymore and he said give my blood away cause I was going to give it all away and I would not have anymore left. Out of the mouths of loving babes! Jump on over to True Story Tuesday at http://www.onceuponamiracle.com/2010/04/true-story-tuesday-boy-bike-and-his-dog.html and enjoy more stories. Ooppsss, I just looked at Daily Dribbles and it looks like there is no Thank you very much post as of yet. Check back later. Thank you very much for the idiot that just would not move over into that cleared lane so that I could merge onto the parkway! Don’t you people get it, if you can move it over and get the heck out of the way then do it! Thank you very much for the sleepless night I had on Tuesday night. Oh my gosh, how does a full moon mess with you so bad when you are trying to sleep? One strange dream after another (that made no sense that I can remember), the cold/hot moments that kept taking turns with both me and the dog! Cover on, cover off, dog under cover, dog out! What a night…. Thank you very much for the baby birds I heard chirping in the attic from the computer room. Thank you very much for the little piss ants that come every year into
