Couple days back I asked if you  thought I would bite the lollipop,  well, just in case you were wondering, I  did! Right as soon as I put it in my  mouth!! I keep spearmint candy on hand always, with those, I never suck on them, let them shrink down, I throw them in  my mouth and CHOMP.... I chew them right up. Just wished they would eat up the fire ants. I have heard so many different birds on  my merlin app since moving to the country. From the first of June till now I have heard 32 different birds. 1.  Isn't it funny the things you remember? Today, I had my ex sister in law comment on a FB post about the Wizard of Oz, and how the flying monkeys always scared her. Even though they scared her, it was one of her favorite movies, along with  Gone with the Wind. With that mention of that movie I remembered that the first time I ever saw Gone with the Wind, my granddaddy ran the reel at the  drive in. My cousin and I went with our grqnddaddy to the drive in,  there was a porch like area above where he ran the reel with  seats up there. That is where we watched the movie.  I was maybe 12 or 13 then, 72 or 73.  I even remember my mom fixing my hair in a high pony tail, then pinned it under to make sort of a bun.  I struggled in school, mainly cause as my mom put it, I thought I was going to school to socialize. haha   Okay, so maybe not struggled in the whole thing but a few classes. But I remember telling my mom yrs ago that if I had the internet in  school I would have been a straight A student. Was I a straight A student?.... haha.... NOPE! Did I get grounded cause of grades? oh, hell yeah! And in my house, when you got grounded for grades, it was for six weeks,  till the next report came out. Couple weeks of tv got taken away, but six weeks,  NO PHONE!! Talk about crushing a teen's social live. Oh yeah, back to the internet, I see things posted on FB and I go to the internet and read up on it. I would be so stinking smart, only now at my age, and with the fibro,  I sometimes have forgotten what I read before I close the laptop.
