FOREVER, Painting Witches, Banner, Superman, Treats, and Lily

 

Oh my gosh, feels like 
FOREVER
since I did any blogging.
But, here I am!

You all know me, I love 
Halloween.
I love witches. So, I have
been doing a little creating 
of witches.



For a bit there I was doing
some painting and nothing was
working out, I was messing 
everything up and I have even 
went as far as throwing things
away. 
But, the two above I am pleased
with them. 

Sept. 15th, made one month since
DJ's accident. One months since
he was home but tomorrow that 
changes, he is coming home.
I will be getting up early enough to 
go and hang a banner on the front
deck of HOME.
We are all so excited. 

A few weeks ago I found a Superman
tshirt at Goodwill so I grabbed it
when the thought hit to make
a pillow with it.
I will have this on his bed when 
he gets home tomorrow.
Plus, I made him Rice Krispy
Treats. 

Then on Sunday we will get 
together and do a bday for Braden
who will be 16.


The other day Misty and I 
were laying down for a short nap 
when Lily decided to visit at the 
foot of the bed, and decided 
that was where she wanted to nap,
in the laundry basket.




This girl is so funny.
Talking about silly, 
I caught this paw cleaning

Love your paintings. That is awesome that DJ is going home and I'm sure he's quite happy about it too. He's done remarkable in his recovery.

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Coffee Table Redo

Morning all. Couple weeks ago I found this at a neighbors home put out on the side of the  road. Loaded it up in my Prius. It was heavy and LONG.  Standing it up next to me it comes to my shoulders and I am 5'2. My daughter Amber had told me just that week that she needed a coffee table. I think it was meant to be! Basic maple with a traditional  look and a formica top. that you can't do much with. So after checking with my daughter to be sure size would not be a problem I got to work. I built a frame. My thoughts were that if I made a frame and attached wood to that I could slip it right over the top of the existing table top.  Oops....forgot a step... before making the frame I spray painted the base in an ivory color.  Now with that step added in I  move on to what it looks like with the wood attached  to my frame. Another Chilling Day - Brothers HOuse

House/dog/bird sitting at my brothers house.  Of course this was Lily's first trip there. Dakota  has house sat with me many times.  Lily was not too sure what to think about Ms. Lola. She loves the ledge at the large windows! My brother has some really pretty sunflowers.....all about to give it up for the summer. Wasp drinking from the hummingbird feeder.
