Light and Water, Inherited, 25 and too Fast, Misty and Emmy

Couple of days ago I shared this
pic with the cool pattern on the grass,
I love these cute solar lights, but
this one and another just like it
fills up with water when it rains.
Dollar Tree is a good place to shop
for somethings but for others, maybe
not so good.
Leaking solar lights..
Every time I go out after a
rain, I have to empty them!
Which reminds me, I looked out last
night and realized several of my
solar lights are in need of
batteries. That looks like a chore
for today.

I started this post this morning,
its 9:30 pm now and guess what,
the batteries in those solar lights,
did not get replaced today!
lol..

oh my gosh, I had to laugh when
I read the above, Cory and I had
this sort of conversation just Sunday.
We were talking on the phone about
his ADHD, not being able to do
things, not being able to
get motivated and getting
overwhelmed with things so
much so you shut down.
He then said, "Mom, you have it
too"...
Yep, I told him that it explains a lot
of things in my life.
Well, it's always been a given that
Cory is just like me, I hate that maybe
I passed that to him.
well, my head tells
me I am still 25,
not that I feel for sure.
That standing up too fast is
wicked itself.

In a total, I think Misty
jumped, hissed and slapped Emmy
Lou at least 5 times.
Poor Emmy, all that was going on
was she moved when Misty was
near, and Misty freaked out.
On that front, Emmy went home
at 8:30pm Sunday.

Here is hoping you had a great
4th and got some good ole homecooked
meal in your gut. That you had laughs,
conversation and saw some good
fireworks,
 Pam

I always used to tell my kids that any of their bad traits they got from their father.
I'm the same way, I don't feel as old as I am until I do something that reminds me. Unfortunately lately there are more and more things that remind me I'm not 25 any more.
