Happy Birthday, Grass, Stary Night, Emmy, Another House, Charcoal Drawing, Chairs, Rack and a Sweet Note
GRASS!
Rural Tn.
No street lights, no
porch lights,
just the amazing light
from the starts above.
I sat down for a break between scrubbing the dining room
and kitchen, thought maybe I would
do a post, BUT, I actually have
no pics to share. I have been busy doing
some cleaning and picking up, no pics!
My house guest will be going home
Sunday, YAY!
I knew Emmy Lou had her issues,
but a week of this and I have had
enough.
She will not go out unless I
go with her.
She will not get off the porch till
I tell her to.
Then she will stand on the sidewqlk,
just looking up at me.
I have to tell her to go to
the bathroom before she will
go. Then back to the walkway,
till I tell her to come on,
then she jump up on the porch,
but will not go in first, so holding
the door open for her don't work.
I have to step in first.
She hovers and mercy,
she just stands in the way
and will not move. I almost
have to run her down to get
her to move.
Remember the house on the
way to my house, the one I told
you I did a watercolor of and sent
it to them. Like I told you, daffodils,
then to iris, and then daylilies. The daylilies
in there yard are actually hanging on a bit
longer than mine did, but they are
drying up now,
and guess what, she has now,
gladiolus.
I would stop and take pics of
each blooming season but it's too hard
to do that where the house is,
but I think next yr I will pull
over in front of their
house and do each time blooms change
from on the other.
Check out this house.
It is down the road from me in
the other direction then I normally
travel, but I do like going that way when
I can.
I need to go back that way and
check out the house numbers so
that I get the info straight.
The house on the left feels to me
to be an old home.
The large house, a garage like
in the center and then the smaller
house, which to me appears to
be like a bunk house.
Up back behind the trees,
is yet another home.
I figure this is one family living
out among all this land.
Looking at zillow
I am finding that it appears
to divided up in the several pieces.
Once I get the correct addresses
I can feel you in on the acres and
when it was built. Problem is,
with all the houses spread out
in a rural area, then along comes
along a builder and sticks a house
in between the others.
So, I am not sure really how house
numbers go when that happens.
There are some amazing places
out here, and some not so amazing.
I learned living out in rural land,
there is a mismatch of houses and
mismatch people. There are some
places that you go past to get to me,
and it looks like a 3rd world country.
Been doing those things on FB
that takes your pic and its either
painted or sketched.
Wow....to be as young as I look in
this drawing.
I was at Wally World the other day
and I got tickled over this
for 44.97, these are big
butt chairs.
cheaper, cause they are
not as wide, they are for skinny
butt people.
Big difference in a few inches.
Now, how about this,
When I was young and newly married,
I had one of these. But now a lot
of money flowing in so for
decorating I relied on my
out of the box thinking,
I embroidered on unbleached
muslin some little froggies,
cut the embroidery pieces out
and tacked them to the backside
of the rack and hung it in
my bathroom.
Course, I did not give that
kind of price for it.
A few weeks ago while I was at Ambers,
hanging with Evie, I was given this.
Bless that little girl.
It reads left to right,
"I love you nana Pam".
It's on my fridge for all to see.
Have an amazing day,
hug someone,
find something to laugh
about, and when you do,
laugh often, laugh loud
and laugh hard,
Pam
