Cat Rules, The Bridge, and Dragonflies

everyone!

Here's hoping your July has
started off with a great 
BANG!

I am sure that those of 
you that have a cat
already understand all
the rules.
But in case you don't, 
it is all spelled out for  you.


  I have the rock in my car to
pour into the dry ditch but
I got them two days ago and
it's just been to hot to 
mess with.

But my decorative bridge 
came in.


I love it. 
Maybe one day when I have 
the welder up and going and can
locate some cool metal, 
I will think about making
a larger one.

I have actually seen a couple
of dragonflies in the yard the past
week.
Problem is, will the toads eat
the dragonflies?


Oops....my eco friendly yard might
be drawing insects to their death?

On the flip side, I do have
at least, prob more of the night
shift works seen in bottom right
of the meme above.

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Coffee Table Redo

Morning all. Couple weeks ago I found this at a neighbors home put out on the side of the  road. Loaded it up in my Prius. It was heavy and LONG.  Standing it up next to me it comes to my shoulders and I am 5'2. My daughter Amber had told me just that week that she needed a coffee table. I think it was meant to be! Basic maple with a traditional  look and a formica top. that you can't do much with. So after checking with my daughter to be sure size would not be a problem I got to work. I built a frame. My thoughts were that if I made a frame and attached wood to that I could slip it right over the top of the existing table top.  Oops....forgot a step... before making the frame I spray painted the base in an ivory color.  Now with that step added in I  move on to what it looks like with the wood attached  to my frame. Another Chilling Day - Brothers HOuse

House/dog/bird sitting at my brothers house.  Of course this was Lily's first trip there. Dakota  has house sat with me many times.  Lily was not too sure what to think about Ms. Lola. She loves the ledge at the large windows! My brother has some really pretty sunflowers.....all about to give it up for the summer. Wasp drinking from the hummingbird feeder.
