Pump, ATT, Weed Eaters, Hair, Misty, Project Finished

Hello to all.
I was sitting here when all of a sudden
it hit me, in the post below I mentioned a challenge
I had with ordering a pond pump, then
the issue with ATT with my internet and TV.
Which by the way, no issues since the surprise
fix it did all by itself.

You all know this cause you are all
are adults but life is so full of
challenges at every turn. Hell, sometimes you
don't even need to turn, cause
those challenges tend to slap you in
the face.

My other challenge that was going on
at the same time as the pump

and
ATT,

was happening.
It was the challenge of the
WEED EATERS!!

I came to this area with my
battery operated weed eater,
which by the way, do you call it
a weed eater or weed whacker?
That did not last cause the
charger just went out on it. I got a
gas powered one, I never could get it
started cause the cord was hard and
I don't have the ump to pull it.
I went with the tide and true
plug in one. Yep, worked good, but
with three extension cords I still couldn't get
to places I needed to. I bought another
battery. I barely get one side and the front
done before it dies. So, then I bought
another gas, cause DJ (middle grand) told
me he would do my weeding if he had one cause
that is all he uses when he is with his dad
(they do yards). I ordered it, it came....
in a box torn open and retaped on my porch
by the delivery guy. Parts were mising.
I had to get a refund and purchase again.
FINALLY,
it arrived, box not torn open
and all the parts there.
I put it together, now I am
waiting for the rain to calm down
so DJ can take care of my weeds.

Weed eaters are for sure my challenge,
it's not just this issue, need I mention
that when it comes to putting the
string on there,

 is a HEADACHE.
I always get something crossed and the
line will not feed.
Going on record...
I HATE WEED EATERS.

Moving on and away from my challenges.
This is a pic taken a month or so ago,
but I wanted to post again so you
can see the hair.
WHITE.
So, I did a thing.

Low lights.
Now I don't look all washed out
and according to my daughter,
I look younger.
I have had this done before, yrs ago,
but the lady did it where it
was more blocky and not so natural
looking. I love this.
And although it makes a great change,
I really did not expect Misty
to notice but she set
next to me looking at me like this.

 On Sunday,
Amber and I spent the days together.

More on that tomorrow.

I had a Wally World delivery yesterday
afternoon...
my pump came in and the pond
is done.

In honor of a frog I keep running
across in the yard, I added
frogs to the pond.

Some floating, some sitting on
rocks below the wagon and a duck
Yes, a duck. The ducks head however is
top heavy and it will not float holding
its head up. So, I have it sitting on
the pot.
Thinking that this area might
need to be concreted cause it might be
an issue (back to the weed eater), keeping
the weeds from growing under the
wagon and it is in the position it is
in and rocks propping up wheels, I don't think
I need to be moving it to cut.
The sound is amazing.

Night shot, with the flood lights
on.
Here are the gutter draining
things I have told you about. One for
the left and one to the right part
of the house.
And the start of the dry creek
bed.
Gotta get in there and
slide the shovel under the grass
taking the top layer away.
Then lay the plastic lining down
and river rock. But before that I
need to make a creek run and pic up
some more border rocks to finish up.
A lot of rocks!

Tomorrow, I think I will sat
by the wagon and listen to the water.

Have a great day,
Pam
