Pam in TN., Coincidence, Rockhounding, Flowers

A couple weeks ago I got a message on
a post from Pam in TN.
No silly, not me Pam but another
Pam. Pam however is not a blogger apparently
but she apparently reads blogs but
does not comment...

UNTIL NOW!

Pam if you are reading this,
thank you for you comment and for
taking the time to say hi.
Please, leave a comment anytime.

Anyway, this is what Pam had to say.

I’m a long time reader but never commented. I live in Donelson. Just wanted to tell you all my husband’s family is from down where you are living now. His mother’s family lived on Little Lot Road and his Dads family lived on Prim Springs Road. You had to drive across a creek to get to this Grandmothers house on Primm Springs Rd. Was down that way almost weekly back when they were all alive. My husbands parents lived in the “bonnas” for awhile until they passed away. Sadly my husband passed away last August. We were married 56 years.

Wow....and the world just keeps
getting smaller and smaller it seems.
Again, Pam thanks for commenting.
For those that are not Pam or I,
Donelson is the town next to Hermitage
where I grew up. Matter of fact, I lived
in Donelson when we moved from Fort
Campbell Ky., for a yr. I actually went to
the Donelson Senior Citizens building
for FIRST grade. haha..
It was an elementary school then.
Pam, we lived on Emery.

Now we bounce back to me living
in the same area that Pam's hubs family
was from. Little Lot is just down off
Hwy 100 maybe 10 mins from here
and Primm Springs is down Hwy 7 about
maybe 15 mins. Then coincidently, Pam
reads my blog and knows this area.
Like I have stated before, this is a rural
area and although Hickman Co. is large,
people are spread out and not
on top each other.

That is not all...
a few weeks ago, I also got
a private message on FB from someone
that does rock hounding.
Rock hounds are us folks
that can't walk past certain rocks,
we even go out hunting rocks and like
me, they come home with rocks in
their pockets.
I have always been someone
that walked with my head up so
I could see the world. Now,
I walk looking down for rocks.

Okay, moving on. The private message
I got said that this woman lived in
Az., and that she had family here that
she was coming to visit in Aug.
She follows the same rock hounding
page I do on FB. and she wanted to know
where was a good place to
go hunting. Yikes, so sorry I really
could not help, only being here a short
while, I am not that up on these places.
Course, I am new to the hounding also.

CRAZY...who knew moving to a place
I had not heard of could create
so many coincidences.
Not me..

So since I am here in my new area,
with such a blank canvas to play with,
I am making it my own.
My Brown Eyed Susans that
came back from last year have
done amazing.

And look at my flowerBED.

Just wishing that more would bust
out in bloom at once.

These Japanese beetles are a pain
in the rear.

This one is hanging on for
dear life!

When I started this post
about three days ago
the pic of the flowerBED was
taken, however, Friday
morning, this is what it looks
like.
Now, isn't that the prettiest
flowerBED?
I am trying to get
the whimsy added to the
yard!

Pam
