MIA, Beckham, Lily, Friends and Watercolors

 I bet y’all wonder why I am missing in action!!

I am doing better in some areas, numbers are coming up but energy still sucks. I drove  to James and Julie’s for a get together on Sunday. Left here at noon and I left there at five, putting me at home around 620 or so. 
I was out of commission all day Monday. 
Saw a quote on FB that said something in the context of trying to remember what it is like to live and not just survive.? To, I wonder. 

I did muster up energy on Sat. evening to go to dinner with son in law, Amber, DJ and Munchkin Man Beckham. 



Oh what a mess this boy is!!

Been doing a lot of Lily love.



Weather has been bouncing back and forth and with that, she wants mom. 

I only took a couple pics at the get together, I just day and visited with folks. 
Me, Vic, Julie and Lisa. 

I do miss these ladies. 
Course James missed having me to pick on and I miss picking back!

We had BBQ cooked by one of the guest, and a table full of baked taters and fixings! 



 Always good food!

I have been working hard on making watercolor cards for the art guild and the vending machine. What I have now and what I did before puts me at 98. 



  










Got them done but still have to go into Dickson next week to drop them off.
Watercolored some bookmarks also for an upcoming craft show. 
Painting is relaxing to me, soothes me and since I am feeling some better, between cleaning and even some cooking of throw together meals, I have been……..
You got it, painting!

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. Coffee Table Redo

Morning all. Couple weeks ago I found this at a neighbors home put out on the side of the  road. Loaded it up in my Prius. It was heavy and LONG.  Standing it up next to me it comes to my shoulders and I am 5'2. My daughter Amber had told me just that week that she needed a coffee table. I think it was meant to be! Basic maple with a traditional  look and a formica top. that you can't do much with. So after checking with my daughter to be sure size would not be a problem I got to work. I built a frame. My thoughts were that if I made a frame and attached wood to that I could slip it right over the top of the existing table top.  Oops....forgot a step... before making the frame I spray painted the base in an ivory color.  Now with that step added in I  move on to what it looks like with the wood attached  to my frame. Nap Time

It amazes me how well Dakota has taken to Lily being with us. And it is so funny that  when she lays down to sleep, she gets as close to him as she can. One of my fav shots below.
