Projects and crafts

Howdy!
At the first of the month I found this cute little desk at the local flea market. I knew Amber had mentioned that she needed a small desk when doing class work. The within a few days I saw this. Dude let me have it for 5 bucks! It is sturdy and in good shape so for five, I took it off his hands. 

Took it home, cleaned it and primed it to get her ready for an antique white color. 

The paper that I lined the inside of the drawers with, was also applied to the sides of the drawers. Sorry, no pic. So when you open the drawer, and you look on the side, it’s pretty too!


I am also working on Christmas gifts. Decided to make this for the two families with kids. 

This one is for Brayden and Hannah.

Watched a video where a woman paints these all the time. I love them.

Working on some other projects also.

Gotta figure out what box my Spanish moss is in so I can finish these up. 

Oh, I think I failed to mention, I am going to spend the Sat. after Thanksgiving at a local craft fair. So excited. This is what I have been making and painting for. 
Now I just gotta get in the craft room and find out which bin Amber and I packed them in when I was preparing for moving stuff to the new shed, The Craft Cave, that was ordered five weeks ago. Still waiting. Was told four to six weeks, wouldn’t you know it would not in four weeks! Lol

And with that info, I am closing this post cause I have to get busy!

 Seasonal changes are coming,  moving in slowly as always,  but coming.  Leaves are falling, not since fall is close but cause we  are so freak'n dry. Got a little rain shower on Wed. but, it did not even register in my rain gauge.    Spider webs are thick, grass is  crunchy, flowers are giving up  the fight, and Lily is doing her seasonal behavior as fall moves in. Kyler, Boys, Boys and More Boys, Hearts, Results and Two Births in Two Days

 Welcome to the world Kyler (K for the sound of  Caleb, and yler for Tyler which is Caleb's middle name, dad). And number five of my great grandkids, 2nd one in the  bloodline. Kyler came into the world, on his big brother, Alistur's bday,  yesterday, almost at the same time as he did. NOW~ NO MORE BOYS PLEASE. Grandkids~ three blood born from my daughter that turned around and married a man with  FOUR (4) boys. Giving me 7 grandSONS. My blood grandson brought another boy to the mix with Alistur when he met Triniti. Now he gives me this  little boy. Brayden, son of my son in law, has given me Beckham who will be a yr old in Dec..... AND expecting a boy in Jan. Let's count again, 7 grandsons, 3 great grandsons with one on the way... The Rest of Today

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Later....I had an apt for a hair cut. But I left out early to stop  at the  Mystic Heart. I picked up some healing stones there.  Entering the store I read this sign... haha Then while in there I saw this sign. From there I headed to see  Kelley, my hair stylist.
