Deer, Painting, Abandoned, Pics in General, and Opening Cans
I am generally very careful
whenever I am out and about
around my home. A deer was hit just
a couple weeks ago two doors up from
me, so its a given, I try to keep
my eyes peeled.
I shared this painting I did
several months ago. I finally got
it to its new home. Well, I used my
sis in law, Lori. She delivered it to my niece
Jessica, for her daughters
room.
I never painted a mini highland
cow before but I am pleased
it turned out so nicely.
Jessica hung it in little Eve's
room and took a pick for
me. That was sweet.
Here are just a few pics from
my adventures out and about
lately.
Abandoned.
Not sure if abandoned or just
rustic sheds. But I love the
rustic sheds, homes and barns
also.
Shot this barn on the fly,
that is as I flew by it..
and stopped in the center of the road,
looking back, but the sun was in a bad
spot so the Halloween figures did not
show up.
I have gone by this place several
times, but I snapped this pic cause
this reminds me of a OLD house that has
been built on or revamped.
Just cool looking to me.
I posted a pic
a few weeks back oh but
when I went back, there was
color, the yrllow.
And this, apparently a structure leftover from older time.
Sure, does make for a beautiful
pic with the leaves changing. For
me as photographer this spot has a lot.
A rustic worn brick building, vines growing
over it, water flowing slowly by,
trees all around and the fall color.
More than just one thing to focus on.
This is a tree at the end
of my road, I have noticed before,
that this big, massive beauty is
the first to start turning,
and always the first to drop those
leaves.
Mother Nature sort
of messes with you cause you
could go by it one day and the leaves
look like they are getting yellow, starting
to turn. The next day, you look again
and it's all yellow and starting to drop.
Our temps had just started getting cooler,
and as soon as it did, the change happened.
I knew it was my time to head
out with the camera, one more rain and
some hard winds, and they will
be gone.
Took this the same day as the
yellow, and it don't appear to have
lost any leaves.
But what is amazing, is to
look out among the trees and you
have a bust of RED, ORANGE,
YELLOW, and LIGHT GREEN.
I just wished fall lasted a little
longer.
On a post a couple days
ago I posted about can
food actually lasting longer
then the date on the can.
Then Liz brought up that
the can opener did not come
along with the can, it was
a decade later.
Then she wondered how
they opened cans before.
This is what I found Liz~
I love the internet,
Pam
