Wire Lamps, Neighbor, Baby Plants, Fake Water, Pillow Case Cat, Vet Return

Surfing on FB and saw
this, I
LOVE IT!

So love when people think
outside the box!

Meet my newest neighbor.
This is Mushy.
My neighbor Carrie recently
rescued him. He is a sweetie.
She also has another boxer,
Zela and a pit named
Storm.

They are good neighbors.

Looky, looky, looky,
I have tiny plants coming up.
I had a spot over by the
carport that grass was not
growing at so I loosened the
dirt and threw wildflower
seeds over it, covered
it with topsoil and my little
babes are peeping out.

These are seeds that I went to
the local park and picked.
HAHA...I waited till blooms
died off and I went up to dead
head the plants. It was early
fall so I knew they plants would
be pulled up soon, I took
advantage of that.

Speaking of plants, I made this
with a pitcher I had gotten at
Goodwill years ago. Plastic
beads to look like streaming water.

I have changed out the hook
since taking this
pic. This was a Dollar Tree one
and it was not strong.
I have it hanging now and
it is more secure.

Look at my sweet girl.
I was propped up in bed the other
night watching tv when
Lily Bit tried to get in my
pillowcase with my pillow.
I got up and got her a case
just for her alone.
She was loving that.

Here we go again...
to the vet.
Misty did so well with the
meds, until Wed. I noticed she
was doing the litter box hopping,
in, trying to pee, out, back
in....
and so on.
So, off to a new vet, found one
closer this time so that she
was not stress in the car for
a long period of time.
SHE HATED TO RIDE.

Here is the verdict,
they could not get a sample
from her, the ultrasound showed
nothing in the bladder to get out.
But, it also showed no stones or
anything like that.
Vet seems to think that she
has urinary stress inflammation.
Which makes sense since the
developed about a week after I
introduced the ROBOT to the
girls. GREAT. She is on a three day
tablet for calming that down,
and Gabapentin for the pain.
OH MY GOSH!
Keeping the robot but I
will also keep a reg box out
for her.
If this don't stop, the doc said
the next step would be
PROZAC. I really
do not wish to do that.

I have one fun goofy
acting cat and one that stresses.
Life is good,
Pam

It does not surprise me that the robot freaked one of your cats out. I'm surprised it doesn't freak more of them out. They can be rather skittish creatures. Hopefully, she'll get used to it evenutally.

So sorry to hear about Misty. Hope the meds work and she's feeling better soon.
Poor Misty. Our Brian had idopathic cystitis (you should ask the vet about this) and was on pain meds for about 8 years, it really helped him. He was on Buprenorphine which was liquid and compounded by Wedgewood Pharmacy.

Love the pillowcase pic. I hear you on the cats. I hope the meds will help.

It must be hard to see Misty in distress. I hope the latest meds help!

You're so creative. :D Did I mention Jackson Galaxy before? The guy knows cat behavior and has taught us a lot over the years. He doesn't recommend robotic boxes or even covered ones but at least I can see when it's time to scoop. lol Your pet photos are such a joy. Thank you for sharing.
