Get Well Card, Fat and Not Fat, and Chilling

My sis in laws brother in law
had cancer surgery and 
was recovering so I made
him a card and sent to him.

He got a kick out of it. 

A school friend posted a pic
on fb of a group of us and when I looked
at it, I said to myself, "who is that woman in 
front?" haha...its me!!

So I went back and
pulled out t a pic of me at
my heavyiest...210.

Sunday I laid down to 
watch some tv and 
I had company, Lily
Bit.
Throwing those legs
over mine and just chilling.

Been hot the last
two days, today I 
made the girls come
in around one and stay
in til around four.
Even with fans out there
I rather they not be out
in the heat. Although, 
Misty likes the heat.

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. Birds in the Yard

 Hello friends. This morning Dakota and I sat out on the deck, it was a nice 71 cool degrees after a night of storms and rain. The birds were singing and flying around and it was so peaceful. In the pic above I am standing on the deck looking into my Crepe Myrtle at the bird house I hung a couple months ago. I had been sitting there listening to this one bird that I was not sure what it was and was not sure where it was coming from. Then I saw her, on the branch next to the bird house and she was loud! She would speak out and another bird, same talk as her would speak up from in the trees on the creek. I then realized where that noise was coming from....her and him. Then I realized why. She flew from branch to branch checking things out before flying onto the bird house. And then I realized I heard babies too. I watched him and her do this for a long time. Such a pleasure. The Printing Tray / The Free Art Drop and String Art

When I was 16 I went to work at  a small family owned printing business.  I guess it got in my system. When I went back to school after that summer, I was going into the 11th grade I signed up for a printing/Graphic Arts class. I learned to set type the old fashion way, worked in the dark room,  learned to operate the camera, and I learned to run a press.  I always heard that once you have printing ink on you, it's in the blood. It must have been  cause I went back into that class, actually taking two classes of it for my 12th grade year.  From there, I went to work for the state of  Tennessee in their printing division for  21 yrs.  Years ago while still in school I picked up a printing tray, this is where metal type is stored, the old fashion way of typesetting.  I filled it with miniature items.
