Toffee Coffee, Mailbox, Crochet, and Beautiful Day

 I love Butterscotch 
Toffee coffee
but can't locate around
me. But Theresa ventures 
into Ky from time to 
time and she can locate
it there.
She had me a large bag!
YUM.

I keep an album on my FB
page for unusual mailboxes.
However, I have not been able
to add any in a long time.
But going to sit with 
Sissy the other day, I 
saw this one.
So cool.

While I sat with Sissy
I was able to finish one
square and do another
one. We will see if
what I am doing with them
works.

More on that later.

I was also able to turn out 
another scarf, this one
has ruffles on the outside.


Oh my, what a totally
beautiful day Friday
was. 80 degrees but
with no humidity. 
Same for Saturday and I have
a photo shoot.

Oooooo, Butterscotch Coffee! I love butterscotch too. The squares you work on always make me smile. You do such a nice job on them, Pam. And it's always fun to see it when finished. Your window photos are always charming. Love them.

There is an interesting construction for a crocheted bag using larger granny-type squares. I saw a video on it a while back. So many things you can do with granny squares.

I have never heard of toffee coffee, it sounds interesting, we do drink chocolate cappuccino though which we love. I really fancy that post box, maybe I could have one of a Porsche :-) Keep well, Diane

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Later....I had an apt for a hair cut. But I left out early to stop  at the  Mystic Heart. Hot Water Heater Mishaps

 As I stated the hot water heater sprung a leak, from the bottom.  My younger brother came to help  with the issue. Problem, the  value at the bottom where you screw in  the hose to drain the tank, was  all clogged up.  It sets so close to the bottom  that it is hard to slip a  bucket under to catch water if we were to get the clog undone. There was no moving it till water was drained off the tank. We opened the top value, and leaned it over to drain into buckets. I have a great big  plastic tub, like this one. We filled it by leaning the  hot water heater over. Finally got enough off to be able to slid onto the two wheeler  and move out of the garage. Once we had it there,  we lowered it to the ground and let it finish with the drain. Mark went to Lowes and got another one, installed it and  had me up and running. The damage had been done though. With the unit on the  other side of the BR, water came under the wall and flooded the BR,  and the carpet in the den.  Yes, the same two roo
