Working, Eyes, Sunset

While doing a wedding at TN 
Tiny Weddings James got some
pics of me setting things up.

It's been two weeks, one day
(when writing this post) since
I had surgery. Eyes have done
GREAT!

Here I have on my eye liner and mascara and
still see eye lids! Yay....

This tree in my front yard
is BIG. My younger brother
says this is one of the original
trees to the property. It was here 
54 yrs ago when we moved here.

It is looking a tad rough at the 
top so I am planning on 
getting a tree service out
to look at it. I hate
the thoughts but if it is
dying, it is going.  I can't
afford to let it come down
in the storms we tend to have.
I also have one in the back,
at the corner of the house
that needs to come down. 

Like I said, I hate to take
down trees but the damage
they can cause when they
are dying can be bad. 

Saturday evening on the 
way home from feeding 
the babes I felt like I 
was driving into the 
most beautiful sunset.

Yep, two weeks and you're looking good and it keeps getting better. You'll see.

I hear you on the trees. We had one taken down too and we're happy about that. The one out front needs trimming and thinning.

2 weeks made quite a difference in how your eyes look.
I have a tree in my front yard that was planted the first year we lived here. It's not looking too healthy but I hate to have it taken down.

That is a beautiful sunset Pam and I'm happy to hear about your eyes!! It would be a shame to take down that tree, it has so much character, but I agree about the dangers of a dead one so close to the house.

Lovely sunset photos! Dying trees can cause a serious threat. I hope you get good advice and perhaps not need expensive/sorrowful removals. Old vegetation has such great character! Be well, my dear.

Beautiful sky photos. We had to have a huge cedar tree taken down, it died very suddenly for no apparent reason. It was sad, but now other trees in the garden are growing so much better so maybe it was for the best. Stay safe, Diane

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. Swollen Hand and Leipers Fork

Wasp sting update~ I made an apt to go  to Fast Pace on Sunday, then canceled.  I wanted to give it one  more day. I did ice  off and on all day and  did Benadryl cream, Sunday night, swelling  is going down. This was Sunday  morning. This in is this  morning. Never been so happy to  see my ugly veins before! YAY L eipers Fork, TN. Cool little place about 30 mins from the house. I have been here, years ago but the other day, I wanted to get out, so I picked  Leiper's Fork.  Of course, since I love old  cars I had to stop and take pics of this one. Then off I went,  camera around my neck and ready for pics. This is one of the local  gallery.  Isn't that yellow door cute? Cool door with all the  details on it.
