Flarping at Work /Purple Balls/ Instant Cooking

Yesterday I decided to have some
fun at work.....

No photo description available.

This stuff makes the worst gas
sound when you stuff it back in
the container.

On my way home yesterday I
went by Ole Time Pottery.
I have not been in there in a while
so I thought I would just go on
and walk around.

But look what I found!

No photo description available.

I had gotten silver balls for
my black tree for Christmas
this coming yr. but could not
find purple. Ole Time had these.
I got 5 boxes, 10 balls per box...
30 cents each! YAY...
SCORE!

HAHA....that is Theresa or AKA T
and she is working while I took a
small break to take this pic!

T and I met about 15 yrs ago
when she came back to work
for Photographic Services. She
had worked there before me.
We worked together a couple
of years, and became good friends
before I left. Since T lives about 7 mins
from me we have remained good friends.
She is also my boss now!

I got my daughter a Instant Pot
for Christmas and she LOVES
it. So I sort of got tired of
hearing about the meals she was
making....haha....so I thought,
if it is that easy I might cook more.
The other day I ordered one on
line from Wally World (Walmart).
It came today.

No photo description available.

This one was on sale. Regular
99 bucks for 55. I unpacked it,
washed it and fixed a meal.
Yep.....get a load of that.
You can also call me a rebel since
I was not following directions of
a meal and fixed my own thing.

Chicken breast cut in chunks,
noodles, carrots, and two cans
of cream of mushroom. I added
salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary and parsley...
measurements be damned. I just tossed
what I thought would work in there....
YUMMY....tasty. I might like this.

Hoping you have a great rest of the week.

The flarp sounds like it would be good for a laugh.
Great buy on those Christmas balls. Who could pass up a bargain like that.
I have an instant pot and have only used it once. I think I'm still totally confused by all the different functions.

You cooking sounds a bit like me. Whatever is in the house gets thrown in and cooked in a one-pot except I generally use my slow cooker. Keep well and take care, Diane

You are all ready for next Christmas! Enjoy your instant pot.
Yum, we use our InstaPot several days each week, made BBQ Ribs yesterday, double yum!

Did you save some dinner for me? I didn't think so. Love your ornaments for a great price and I laughed at your Flarp. I'd have fun with that.

Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Pam. ♥

You are just so darn cute - I love that pic of you and your boss. :)

The food looks so delish - I may have to get one of those instant pots someday!

Great buy on the ornaments. I have bought all my tissue and wrapping paper along with paper goods for the larger family Christmas parties for next year. Your instant pot meal sounds good. I need to fix something in mine. I haven't used it in a while. Last Summer I used it a lot...boiling peanuts! Hugs and blessings to you. Cindy

Oh my goodness, those Purple balls are gorgeous. Just the kind of Purple I love. Your chicken and noodle dish looks delicious. I'll have to try the cream of mushroom soup with my chicken sometime. I bet your daughter loves that instant pot. Nel uses her crock pot a lot, and it really comes in handy on those busy days.

ps.....sorry I haven't been visiting lately. I've been looking for places to live in So Cal and it hasn't been easy. I hope the new year is being good to you so far, Pam.

I actually knit a purple ornament once upon a time. I think it's still in my shop.

I've been hearing a lot about those pots. Maybe one of these days...
Instant Pots (one-pot cooking) is very popular, and it can make everything that little bit easier :)

All the best Jan
