Happy Mothers Day

HAPPY
MOTHERS
DAY

My first Mothers Day without my mom.

Not only does
May 12 have the
Mothers Day
feelings
but
32 yrs ago today I
lost my dad.

In Feb. 32 yrs ago I lost my
granny. Her birthday being May 12th.
So yep. lost my dad on my grannies bday.

Just the other day, going
through some of moms
papers that I brought over to
my home to go through in my
own time, I found a note
written in my mom's handwriting.
It said that she lost her special
dog, Lizzie on May 12th, 2011.

Thinking this would be the
best day to curl up and
sleep away.

But....I am not going to.
I am trying to be stronger.

But oh how I wished I could
hold my mom's hand again.

Wishing my two beautiful
aunts, mom's two younger
sisters a Happy Mothers Day.

And of course
my beautiful daugther
a good day.

I took these questions from
Sandra's
Mad Snapper Blog.

Where did your mother grow up?
My mom grew up most of her life
in Cedartown Ga. A small town.
Sweet and so cute.

Her Siblings?
Don - older brother
gone from this world.
Two children

Mom was next in line.
3 kids

Then came Alice - also gone
from this world.
6 kids

Carolyn - gone since 2012.
three kids

Martha
has 2 kids

Donna
has 2 kids

and Paul.
has three kids.

HAHA....a memory~
Setting up my mom with
an app on my phone that allows
you to put ghost like pics into
a pic you took.
My house was haunted when I
moved in. For yrs I would tell
mom things that happened and
then I ran across this app.
I had to place a pic of a ghost
in a pic I took and send to mom.
Acting like I did not see the ghost.
She went wild telling me that
was my proof!

I miss you mom. I
felt like I lost a part of
me and I am trying to
locate that part again.
I know I will get there ....
in time.

I hope you all have a great
Mothers Day.

Sounds like you are trying to make the most of what could be a sad day. Sometimes it's hard to see the blessings through the tears of our losses, but it's a good thing to do:) Sending hugs and wishes for a day filled with only sweet memories.
((Hugs)) Happy Mother's Day to you.
Happy Mother’s Day and hugs from all of us too.

I miss my mum so much also. When my Dad passed on she came to live with us for 10 years. Then one day she had a massive stroke and was gone within hours I never even had the chance to say goodbye. Take care Diane

I was thinking about that after the last post. That first without my mom was a killer and I suspect yours may well have been very difficult in many ways. Sending healing wishes to you, each and every day.

Oh, your first Mother's Day without your mom. That must have been hard for you, Pam. That is a sweet picture of you and your daughter. And the picture of you holding your mom's hand is a treasure. Sending a comforting hug to you today. : )
