Christmas Ornaments / Baking

I have been wanting to do...
create for weeks while
dealing with this fatique issue but
not having the ump to do it...

But last night I decided I needed
to do something and since
I still have ornaments to make
for the family I decided to work
on them.

I had done one for my brother Ray but
decided I did not like it so I did
another one...
and somehow loading it on fb
I ended up labeling it this way..haha

Made my great nephews also.

Yesterday I also got a wild hair
and decided to bake.

Tomato Basil Bread.

And orange flavored choc chip cookies.

Bread is good. It called for crushed
pepper flakes to be added..
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon and I added
a WHOLE, filled 1/4 teaspoon...

The cookies were a flop as far as
I am concerned. Too cakey and not
cookie like. Can't really get
the orange taste either.

Back to yesterdays post...this
is cute.
More than I would do but
cute just the same.

I haven't been able to get myself to be crafty for a while now. I've wanted to but can't get going.
Your ornaments look great
Love those Christmas ornaments - I bet your family really appreciate them. The cookies look great. I don't think I'd mind them being "cakey"! Hope the bread wasn't too "peppery"!

That bread sure looks yummy and we're always ready for Christmas here!

I'm curious. Did you paint over the ornament with which you weren't happy? You're so creative. Sorry about the cookies. I have to admit, the cookies really didn't sound good to me. I like fruit with chocolate, to be sure, but what doesn't appeal is adding the cookie component (or cake, I guess, in this case ~shakes head~). That bread sounds delicious! Hope you are having a good day, my dear.

Christmas will be here before we can blink, time is just fleeing way to fast for us.. I don't like cakey cookies either.. or orange taste in food, or lemon pepper chicken. I bought one by accident when I meant to get regular rotissire and bob had to eat it. I could not stand the taste..

Are orange chocolate chip cookies anything like pumpkin chocolate chip cookies? Did you use the zest of the orange? It's probably better that they didn't come out ;)

Orange chocolate chip cookies - sounds good!
Flowered doorway - a bit busy for me like too many.
The ornaments are cute!

The orange chocolate chip cookies do look good, Pam. But there's nothing like Toll House cookies. That's wonderful that you're starting to make Christmas ornaments for your family and getting an early start. I love that floral wall. The pink and blue go well together, so pretty.

Feel better, my friend.

I ate two of those cookies. I can't think about Christmas anything quite yet.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to Dakota and Lily. ♥

Christmas is early at your place. I am glad I do not have to think about it any more. No children and our only nephew is in his late 20's now and lives on the other side of the world in Ozz so he just gets a cheque. If we want a gift we buy something for the two of us that we need, sometimes a holiday which is great. Take care Diane
Hope you are feeling better Pam with your strength. Bless your heart. I can imagine the battle there. Well, your crafts look great. My two oldest granddaughters drug out Nana's craft box and done a little crafting last Sunday evening. I have a project in mind that I would like to do with the grandgirls. I just have to make the time. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

I think the baking looks good.
With Christmas just around the corner (sort of!) it's never too early to be thinking of Christmas ornaments!

Take care, my good wishes.

All the best Jan
