I was asked to put items in the shop and I felt so honored to do that. They were looking for SPRING items. How much more spring can you get then this painting? Or this one even? And of course spring brings  fly's and bugs. These will work great. Some of my spring prints. Bird feeders. My painting hanging in the shop.   and this birdhouse painting. my prints. I am so very excited to be having my crafts and hobbies in the shop. More excited for the fact that this summer after my retirement I have been asked to hold some painting classes at the studio. This is Debbie. Oh my gosh, I had the best time painting today. I was actually holding a class for one friend who is wanting to learn so I finished up some paintings I recently started! Yes, I said paintings..... I actually paint in oils but from time to time I like to use acrylic paints, and paint a simple painting that I call my Kindergarten paintings.. You know....SIMPLE. These are for my great nephew who just turned 4. Introducing the NINJA TURTLES I posted the pics that I was going to paint from on Facebook and said that was going to be my next paint project just for fun. Then my sis in law said my great nephew would love these.. BINGO birthday gift. Then I got two orders. My son at 27 yrs of age wanted a set and today I took an order for another  set. I really was not looking for a new piece for my kitchen although  I knew I was going to have to do something different since the piece I had did not fit in... But my friend, Theresa and I stopped at a  antique store yesterday and I  saw this piece. and I fell in love. I have wanted a piece like this for so many years. And the price was good... even better when they came down 15 more dollars! But, it will need a new paint job. The blue is not getting it in my kitchen plus it is that chalk paint and I  am not a fan of that. Just have to put it on my list of things to do. Thanks for stopping in, Pam

Oh yes it does.....and does not seem to want to let go! ENOUGH Mother Nature.. ENOUGH! Thursday morning, March 5, 2015. My gourd birdhouse. Up the street. and up the other way. Gotta admit the creek looks great with snow around it. My gnome is buried. Poor birds....guess I need to get out and knock this off and fill the bird feeder up for the  birds! Retirement is just around the corner.... less than 5 months. And I have projects planned out to work on after that date. I want to do this going up the stairs on the wall. and this at the base of the stairs... maybe not so high up though. I am also thinking of doing it in the kitchen. But this is what I really can't wait to get to. Pallets on one wall in my bedroom. I have a door like this to my pantry. and this site explains how to turn it into french doors. Kitchen pantry. Hoping to do this to my stairs.  I am always looking for spaces for storage... I would love to build this in my up stairs bath. Although this wash room looks great, my washer and dryer is in a closet so this will not be taking place but... I do want to hang a cabinet like  this above the washer and dryer. And this for my kitchen! I love these little shelves on the cabinets, my grandmother's cabine...
