Hello all! Thought I might get  around to answering some comments left by others. Debbie over at  It's All About Purple asked me what door I liked in  my post ~ Painting Doors, Sheds, Stones, and Darla's Raised Bed (pam-lifethroughmyeyes.blogspot.com) Debbie, MINE! lol Actually, this one  and this one.   Check out Painting Proverbs on FB and see what all she has and what she does. Liz over at  Laws of Gravity shared someone's blog with me so that I could see the gate someone posted! I loved it Liz. I love gates and Calif. has some of the coolest, however here in TN most ours are basically used to keep live stock in and not as decorative as Calif. has. However, in riding a back  road, I found this gate,   The gate is not really that great, what was amazing with this one was the bridge behind the gate. Looked like an old railroad track bridge, but it is the bridge that the car goes over. Too neat. Several folks commented on the  test I had done. GOOD NEWS, my iron level i

This is Leanne Green.    Last week she has been missing for 35 yrs.  Her brother picked her up at work around 9pm and they ran out  of gas. Apparently, a couple came by, offered a ride, Leanna's brother's went with them to get gas, gone about ten minutes but when they came back, Leanna was gone and never to be seen  again.  There was no sign of a struggle, or anything. I had forgotten that this took place in Dickson. The city where I shop a lot because it butts up next to  Hickman Co. This happened on Highway 46 which is the main road coming off the interstate, but back then,  there would not have been much traffic, growth had not hit Dickson then. There was none to no DNA testing back  then. However, years later before Phil and I went to work for the TBI, we worked together to photograph the items from LeAnna's purse. That would have been around 2006 or early 2007. Phil was the young photographer I worked with and he went to the TBI late 2007, and  helped to bring me over

MONDAY rolls around way too fast. I posted a post today which is Monday the 22nd, that  I wrote apparently, last  Monday! I like blogging head  and holding in the hopper for when its time  comes around but sometimes it confuses me trying to  remember, "have I blogged about this yet" .... course it don't take much to confuse me! Anyway, this morning while suffering FB I saw this and  thought, how true. With that said, Hickman Co. is my NOWHERE. And just to give you an  out look on my mornings... Pretty much me and my coffee!! That brings a thought to me, how many cups of coffee do you have each morning? I limit mine at one. I also have some  FORGOTTEN pics that I have taken around Hickman Co. that I have not edited or posted on FB yet. Gotta get on  all that. However, this is not far from me but it is not a FORGOTTEN. Here is some info on the bldg. Storytellers Museum and Hideaway Farm (storytellershideawayfarm.com) I really need to dive into  this and see what all this i

Saturday, on the way to shoot  a wedding.....an hour and 30 mins down  the road. A baby shower, and my second wedding in a month.  That is it, not doing anymore that far off. Saturday morning before I headed out to do the  wedding, I was in the backyard,  and heard the sound of  hummingbird wings, right beside me. A Ruby Throated Male... I was so excited I ran in  for the camera and sat down  next to the feeder.  While I waited for the  Hummingbird to return I photographed the ant on the feeder.  Then a tad bit later, here he came again.  He did not face me so I  did not get a good shot of  his throat, but you can  see it.  So excited, I have never had a Ruby Throated visit any of my feeders.  Maybe tomorrow I will get  some good pics of him. Thursday, I had a date  with my partners in crime,  Deborah and Cindy.  We invited Glenda to  enjoy us.  Deborah and Cindy were  the ladies I worked with for five years in Medicaid  Fraud with the Tennessee  Bureau of Investigation. We try to stay
