18th Bday, The Girls, Tour Around Ark.

An amazing day today,
DJ turns 18. Thankful we have this
day after the accident three months
ago. Things could have been so different.
Merriest Bday DJ.

HE has come so far. Docs are amazed at
how far he has come. Neck brace gone,

leg is healing, still working on the strength in
the neck and left arm, but he does PT and
OT twice a week. I am taking over doing
the Tuesday trip to both so that
Amber can get back to working more.
He finally felt like trusting someone
to cut his hair.
Thankful for this day.

Thursday, I needed to listen to
my body, it said, CRASH.
I slept off and on all day.
It was nice to wake and
see that these two take turns
chilling with me.

Back to Ark., on the way from
Hot Springs to Murfreesboro Ark.,
we saw this.

You folks know me well enough to know
that I see and spot a lot of things most
folks never view. Gates, I like
gates. This was such a nice one and
a pretty site.

Another gate.

we did shopping in Hot Springs,
of course, I took shots of all sorts
of things.

I love old doors also.

Women being silly.

Chandeliers.

This one below is in the front
lobby of the bathhouse that we
spent one morning.

This is the bathhouse we went to.

Lobby.

The old floor in the bathhouse.

Love these. My older brother
has a wooden from a library.
Great for storing small items and
also, just a cool piece to own.

I think this was probably the
first time I ever been on
an older elevator like this one.

They did not allow cameras in the bathhouse
area for a good reason, naked bodies! lol
But here is how the biggest package went...
soak in a hot deep tub for
20 or so mins. Then they lay you out
on a table, whole time you are
wearing a toga (sheet) around you.
Then your assistant comes with towels
dipped in water from the faucet that comes
out at 143 degrees. You sit up and they lay
those towels on your table, you lay back
slowly to allow your body to adjust.
After that they lay a hot towel over you,
and a cold one around your face.
Done there after about 15 mins, you are
taken to a steamer, then a sitz bath,
a 20 min massage and then the hands
dipped in wax.
My body has not felt that soft since
the day I was born, you have heard the
saying, baby butt soft.

In town you see these fountains,
water again comes out at 143
degrees. You can bring your
own bottles up and fill them
with hot springs mineral water.

This building towers over bathhouses.
Very stunning, such detail on it.

I did bring some bottles of water home,
but I don't like the taste of it.
Thought maybe I would wash my
face with it.

And another gate, this goes up to
that building.

Hope you enjoyed the pics,
Pam
