Swamp Ass Risk, Around the Yard, Cow Killer, Car Topper, Rabbit, The Leg, and Tetris
Yep, guess who will be staying in?
Did you say ME?
Spot on.
Yes, this includes my area, I am
down near Columbia.
I love my walks around the yard
when I find new and wild
plants and flowers.
This was growing wild just
inside the wooded area.
I is a Wild Petunia.
I removed it from its spot and planted
it in my garden.
Also, found within the woods, its
a Day Flower.
Yes, I moved it to my flowerbed also.
So cute, one bloom sticking
out among all these daisy weeds.
Just a few shots of the yard as it
evolving, growing and taking on my
personality!
Taken from the deck.
I moved the bird feeder to the back
and placed it a little away from
the deck so the girls could still watch
the birds but not so close it drives them
nuts.
My chair is out by the pond cause I
have to sit my rear down instead of
bending to do all that work.
In under the tree area and up a tad
is my make shift flowers.
I got the two spiky things
several yrs ago at Hobby Lobby on
clearance. painted them and
attached to poles.
They are in need of a good paint
job again.
The bottle tree,
the spikes and insulators on poles.
Another shot of the bottle tree
for your enjoyment.
The insulators. I used to have
a bunch but I shared them with
my brothers.
Insulators on a pole. I used
to have a bunch of these in some in
blue but I shared them with
my brothers.
This is the other corner of the yard
from the deck. That is the work shop
of the guy next door, the red garage.
The shed is shed number 1, holds my
saws and tools.
I put up the lights a couple weeks
ago. FYI, it's not easy hanging those
with just one person.
Theres the new firepit waiting again
for the wood to dry out so I can burn
and the barrel is still full.
You can see part of the path leading
to that area and oops, a big metal
cabinet in the pathway. It has been
there a couple of weeks now.
Yep, I am slow getting crap done.
Neighbor gave me this for the craft
shed that is still a total mess but I
thought it would be better in the tool
shed. Only, she did not tell me that it
was taped together.
So...its metal, it is coming apart.
I ordered a small saw for this and
had to wait for it to come.
It's here!!
There on the side of the shed is
the first flowerbed. I threw this one
together here when I was given
plants that had to go in the
ground. It is taking work but it
is getting there.
I don't mean the wild ones. This is
something I planted and it popped out
in all its purple prettiest.
Another potted plant in bloom.
This shot I took at Wally World
of the bee enjoying her day of shopping.
Shot of the blurry front yard.
Yep, my yard looks blurry, it's
all in the magic!
I was walking into the house with
bags and messed this shot up.
One more shot for the yard.
I walked out to the firepit area
the other day and saw this dude
running away. I would say he was
about a 1/2 inch big. This is called
a Cow Killer Ant, but it is
really a wingless female wasp.
She has a bright red velvet
body and the sting is supposed
to be horrible. Any worse than a fire
ant and I would be one pissed off
person if I got stung.
with cowboy boots and a hat. He did change
but it was a funny site.
Talking about a funny site, I have
been trying to take a pic of
this stump since moving here but
it/s across from the school on a
busy road. I actually had to pull into
the school lot to take this shot.
It appears to be a burned out (by
the coloring) wood stump, but
to me I see a rabbit head sticking
out from behind a stump.
either she was taking a bath or
she could not find the room in
Speaking of legs, cause theyhave feet attached to them which
is my segway into the next pic..
lol..
I love my socks in the winter,
esp love my socks to be
decorative.
I saw these and had to get them.
My first edition to the winter
played Tetris!
Me, I was addicted.
My son had a handheld Nintendo
and when he missed it, he knew to look
in my hands for it.
I was usually playing this game.
We have laughed about this, so
much so that on my last trip
to Calif. He had one for me to play!
Now, that's a good son!
Course they laugh harder at
me for the times I played
Mario Cart. I would turn the controls
like it was a steering wheel.
KIDS!
SUCH BRATS!
Have an awesome day,
Pam
