Misty, Lily, Styles, Pathway, Lunch, Beckham and Ant

Awe, look at this sweet babe,
snoozing on the daybed.
Oops, she caught me.

Lily just chilling on the deck.

On Saturday, Amber' and I went
to run some errands and do
some shopping.
I can't do these pants with
elastic in the bottom of
the legs. This was an 80's
thing and being thinner, I did
wear them but I can't
stand them on my ankles
like that.

Now this, I can get into.
Used to wear tops like this
back in the 70's and I loved them.
Funny how styles come back in
style.

Between the heat and the rain
getting outside to work and do
things has not been easy.
From time to time later
in the day I am able to jump
out and piddle a little.
Last year I started a pathway
to the shed but since I have
changed where it will end
up I had to change the style of
it due to the expense of it.
This is where it started.

So, I decide that since I named
my place Whimsical Way,
whimsical is the way to go.
Whimsical to me is means
quirky, different, change and fun.
This is one step in the
series of my pathway.
Another section of the path
consist of single stepping stones.

then I changed it up again.

When all done I will
show you how it changes up,
where it leads and where it is
ending up.

I mentioned that Amber and I,
did some shopping on Sat.
We also had lunch at Chili's.
I love Chili's and since we
drove to another county we took
advantage of there being a
Chili's there.
Amber enjoyed her cheese stick.

And unlike Amber, who does
not make a deal with a face
when eating something like
this...I DO!

On Tuesday I attended another
funeral. Although I knew this woman
we were not close, but she was
Evie's other great nana.
And out of respect for Evie and her
mom Hannah, I went with Amber
and her hubs Will.
This makes three funerals and
one memorial in the last
couple of months.
Donna, Evie's great nana lost
her battle with breast cancer at the
age of 63.
My heart hurts for them.

With that said, Hannah needed someone
to watch Beckham

for visitation th e
night before. I decided that, even though
I have not watched littles in a
very long time by myself, I knew I
could handle this.
He was a doll baby.
Little bit about Beckham,
he prefers being in the company
of men more than women and within
the last few months, he has started to
except me as he opens up his world
to trust.
I went to Amber's house to watch him,
cause Amber was going to take over
when she got home from work.

Beckham is a wild child but he
was great, I did however wear
myself out entertaining him.

I have to stop, take time and realize
that I DON'T need to stick my
hand in a potted plants to pull out
grass without gloves.
I HATE FIREANTS!

This is red, itching and
swelling from ONE ant. However,
the worst came the next day
where it swelled more.
After the funeral I had to
come in and take
an allergy pill to bring
the swelling down.
I am learning that bugs
really love me.

Having said that, I need to
go out and take my walk about!
Later,
Pam
