Serial Killers, CoLd Morning, Errands, Birds
If anyone ever wondered if I
could be a serial Killer,
here's your answer!
No Aquarius listed.
Is your sign listed?
But yesterday was a CoLd one.
56 and damp from rain the night before.
I was under a throw and had my
winter socks on.
It made it up to 58 then the
rain moved again and even
at 58 it was damp and cold
so I moved the fun to the yard!!
HAHA
Ground was soft so I pulled weeds from
the flowerbed after the rain of the morn
moved out.
I think our high for the day was
69.
Its 56 as I type up this
post, I am on the deck however,
there is a big change, its not damp
and its not cold, you know, rain cold.
Birds are singing, its 9:20 am,
and the sun is out. I drank my coffee in
the house earlier but the outside was
calling me.
So, here I am.
And a break from this blog went
for hours, the better part of the day.
I did my walkabout of the yard.
Goofed off some.
Then decided I really needed
to go run my errands.
Dollar General,
Pet store for Lily wet food,
Dollar Tree,
and
then
LOWES.
Cedar fencing to finish a project
I started the other day.
Stepping stones to finish yet
another project.
Some plants, but not buying
many.
Got home, planted my plants,
and unloaded my stepping stones.
By this time I was stumbling all
over the place, this happens
when I get tried.
So, now at 7:40pm I am on the
daybed, tv on, laptop in lap
(course it is, I am typing this info),
and I am leaning back relaxing.
While out doing my walkabout
I saw a bird in the trees right at
the edge of the woods, I knew the
min I saw it, it was not an American
Gold Finch. I had to look it up.
It was a Yellow Warbler.
That's a first for me.
But since I have been living here I
have also seen three others I had
never seen before.
A dark eyed Junco
A Scarlet Tanger
And a brown head cowbird.
I have a feeder on the outside
of the porch, one of those
ones with cameras, going to
move it to the back, near the
deck. Maybe with that being done
I will see others. Maybe the feeder will
bring them out of the woods.
With that said, when I visited my
brother, we were standing outside
the garage when I bird flew by my
head so close I felt the wind from the
wings.
Then yesterday I was out in the yard, bent
to pick up...
you got it, a fossil,
when another bird flew past my head,
again, really close.
After I got home from my errands today,
I was standing at the end of the sidewalk,
when I was swarmed by yet another bird.
This was a hummingbird.
I stood there, just watching it
at the feeder. Did not move cause I
did not want to scare it. Then here
comes the second one.
What is it with these birds?
I had to look the meaning of it up..
Meaning of Birds Flying Right
Past Your Head
When birds fly directly past your head, many people
interpret it as a positive omen or spiritual sign, often
tied to good luck, protection, or messages from the universe.
Okay, I will take that!
Tomorrow is Friday.
Hoping you have a great weekend.
Pam
