Rain, Mowing, Day Lilies, Lily, Suncatchers
Hello,
well, its been raining here, off and on, equal
amounts every day since Tuesday,
today is Sunday, and according to the weather
app that comes on iphones, we will still
be getting rain till next Sunday.
I did not mow before the rain, and that
was going on two weeks. In need of some
sprinkles from there guy, my yard had
developed some, several good size
dirt spots. So, thoughts were, cut
after the rain.
haha,
at this rate, I will need to bushhog
my yard when the rain stops!
Although, I have done some walk abouts,
even a little work in the yard between
rains, and into rains, until I can't
do anymore.
My neighbor came over the other
day and we stood out in the
rain talking.
I love a good steady, not
shivering cold rain.
Used to love taking walks
in them.
But look what has opened since
the rain started.
camera with me yesterday when I
did a walk about, I have to
say, rain makes a difference.
Such a big difference in plants
as opposed to watering them on
your own.
Plants love that rain water.
I say that to tell you that
the wildflower bed has really
spunk to life. I even have the
Whimsical Woman revamped to
put out there. I kept her on the
porch all winter and one of
those really rainy days she
got knocked over, dislocating her
arms, so I needed to give
her some love.
When I was at GW last week,
picking out Pixie's outfit, I bought
The Whimsical Woman a fuller
skirt which would help cover
her tripod legs that spread out,
but, I like it so much, I am
keeping it to cover my banged up,
bruised up and battered up legs!
Trying to decide on what will get
done today. I am still on the daybed at 11:41am,
and Lily is chilling beside me.
Trying to decide about going to Lowes
for lumber and plywood.
I did not pay extra for a loft
in the craft cave so I am thinking
of throwing one up.
I want to use that for storing of craft
items made and ready for sale, shows or
gifts.
I went out to the craft cave
yesterday to locate my
tumbler and went through every
thing (I think) out there to not
locate it. So, a loft, things out of
the way and me getting off my rear
and organizing it is a must and soon.
Should have done it already.
Lazy.
Yesterday while drinking coffee, I
told myself several times to go take
my stay awake meds. Then before I knew
it, I laid over for a nap. Waking here and
there and telling myself, I think I
took that pill, but for sure thinking
I did not, cause I slept the day away.
ALL DAY.
I have taken it this morn, I told myself
I was taking it, out loud to myself and the girls
that I was taking
so, I would remember.
When I worked I had panic attacks
on my way to work thinking I did
not turn the curling iron, or the iron,
or the stove off, making me have
to go back and check. I found if
I told myself out loud that I did
it, then I would remember.
Cause you know, even though I
said it for them to hear it,
the girls will not remind me!!
Anyway, guess I need to go back
to the pill box thing and start
using them again.
Now I know this will probably get the
better of Darla but I like
chimes, suncatchers and ribbons
blowing in the breeze.
Last week or so I made this
suncatcher.
My SIL, and where they got them,
I have no clue, gave me a bunch of
those iron o's at the top of
this one.
I have been springs so I
combined both of the rust on these
pieces to make the suncatcher.
Those rounds and some spike looking
things that Lori gave me are
parts to an old iron fence.
Welding came to her and
Ray's mind so they gave me that
stuff. And of course I think everyone
knows I will take anything.
This next one was inspired by the
chicken wire suncatchers.
I love these and have wanted
to make one but have not done so
yet. With that being said, I had
a necklace I put away for future
craft projects and noticed it have
perfect rings within rings that
would work the same as chicken
wire.
The biggest problem with me,
I can't keep everything I
make, yet I want to.
haha
