Dressing it up or Down, Note from Hannah, Rock Learning, Introvert or Extrovert

What you may or may not
know about me, and I am sure
its been mentioned in my yrs of blogging...

My thoughts, NO wall should
ever go undressed.
My thoughts again, however,
this is over dressed.
WAY TOO MUCH FOR ME.

I really wanted to share this with
you, however, its a FB reel so if you
are not on FB I figure you can't see it.

I saw the reel posted by Hannah,
which you all, if you are able to keep up
with my family, is my soon to be
granddaughter in law, wife to my
grandson via marriage, and mother
of Evie.

This made me emotional making. This is just a SMALL glimpse of our life. This babygirl has been through so much these past 7 years.
Long story short
In 2019 , my babygirl had a stroke in utero and suffered from countless seizures afterwards. She spent the first 6 weeks of her life in the NICU. We were told she only had 2/3 of her brain and that she had a blockage in her brain. he also told us that baby’s were so resilient and that things could potentially require themselves. we were told when it came to her daily life, we didn’t know what it would look like. she may never walk or talk or do anything a normal kid would do. the only thing i remember that dr tell me was that , it was only up to god.
Here we are 7 years later..
My babygirl is going to 2nd grade. she RUNS, she sings to the top of her lungs , shes so smart and sassy. shes everything those drs told me she wouldnt be.
We still have countless drs appointments , therapy’s and it’s hard work but god is good. We have been through so much and we still have so much more but with god all things are possible. my miracle girl, you are so beyond loved.

Now I will tell you that after reading this,
I had to post my comment, of course I did.
lol
she is for sure your little miracle and we are all very proud of where she is today. When I saw her a couple yrs ago, putting on her socks, not asking for help and not struggling with it, but improvising by using her teeth to pull her sock up, it hit me that we don't have to worry about her, I said to myself, You Got This Girl! I feel like there is nothing this girl can't achieve.

I whole heartly believe that nothing
will stand in this girls way.

Love you Evie, so glad you came into my world.

Its rock learning time again...
haha.
If can't sit still and read on without
comment in this class, please close the blog
and move along.

My silly humor and I know some
of you are shaking your heads at me,
but keep in mind, that would have been
funny in person!!
Moving on.
This is what is called a nodule.
I have located several of these,
I actually have one that looks like
baked bread.

Here is what AI in Google had to say ~
  • This is an unopened geode nodule with a rough, spherical exterior often found in sedimentary or volcanic rock.
  • While the outer shell is typically plain, the hollow interior may contain quartz or amethyst crystals.
  • Unopened geodes like this are commonly sold for enthusiasts to crack open and reveal the treasures inside

  • Notice it said, might contain quartz or
    AMETHYST.
I would love to open and find
amethyst in it, I don't get that
    lucky.
But, I have been bouncing back and
forth over purchasing a saw that will
cut through rock. There are several folks
I follow on fb that are big into that.
Amazing what some of these older,
millions of yrs older, rocks can hold.

One of my favorite finds was this

Found in my yard. Inside the holes are little crystals
and shine. .this item resembles a fossilized Favosite
coral, often referred to as honeycomb coral due to its structure.

If I was to go through the rock I
collect in the past yr we would be here all
    day.
But I do want to share the one I
found, just walking in the yard and looked down.
Its tiny, but it is called a Picture
Jasper. The lines are formed from silica-rich sediment.
Picture Jasper is often used as
a polish gemstone in jewelry making.
They are created naturally by mineral
    impurities and groundwater flow
    over millions of yrs.
    The impurities are almost always
    from volcanic ash.

    Does that not fascinate
    you?
To think, that that tiny little
stone was made millions of years ago from
impurities and groundwater flowing over it. Also,
to wonder, since the dirt in my yard came
from the bottom of the Duck River,
and this rock was formed from
volcanic ash, where did it come from?
Where has this little rock been
    pushed around by moving water
been or has it been stable in one
area at the bottom of the river?
I looked up volcano's in TN and here is
    what I found.

    Tennessee does not have
    active volcanoes today
    and it has been geologically
stable for most of the past
    200 million years, but
    evidence shows that volcanic activity
    occurred in the region hundreds
    of millions of years ago.
    so, then I wondered.....
    yet again....trying to feed
    my mind I guess...
Were there volcanoes in the Smoky Mts.
And this is what I found~

Yes, there is evidence that volcanic
activity occurred in the Great Smoky Mt
region millions of years ago. It was not
continuous and was tired to major tectonic
    events.

    So interesting.
If I had done research, found this interest
and more, had the internet, wanted to learn
and not socialize, I might have been a
straight A student and graduated with honors.
Well HELL, no senses in thinking about
that, it did not happen that way.

If my mom was here today she would tell
you that I went to school to
    socialize, play and clown around.

Now to leave you with of research to
do for yourself and report back....
what determines if a person is
    an introvert or extrovert?
    Now, which are you?

    Enjoy,
    Pam
