Art, Great Grands, Bottle Trees for Spirits and Haints

We are all a work of
ART.

Amber (my daughter),
had an adventure packed weekend...
and at least I could go home when
the girls wore me out on
Sat. night.
Yep, girls, both Everleigh and
Felicity stayed the night
at Ambers.
Two silly girls.
Everleigh wore me out.

That girl is something else.
Look at her, going on seven
but looks and acts seventeen.

Then there is this girl.
Felicity.
Such a sweet face.
Don't let it fool you, she
is a wild thing!
Cousins, six and four.
They were so adorable together.

They giggled and giggled.

I left to head home which was
after Everleigh and I playing,
tickling, playing rock, scissors,
and paper which seemed like
 50 times, fighting thumbs another
50 times (before Felicity got there).
coloring together and then
laying on the floor and balancing both
E and F on my legs up in the air so
they felt like they were flying. The girls
played chutes and ladders with Nini
and Papa after I left.

I think they had a great time.
Course, E was not as thrilled when
F woke her at 4:30 am Sunday
morning wanting to giggle and talk.

Then Sunday around 11, I got a facetime
call from Kyler.
His mom and dad were going out
for the day so Alistur
and Kyler came over to stay
at Nini's house.
Two silly girls,
a baby, a seven yr old boy,
and two teens, Braden and his
friend. Course, Nana had to head
that was to see the boy
greats. Alistur was busy playing
leggos and I got no time with him.
This little one,
Kyler, is crawling but when you
hold him, he just cuddles right up
next to you. So sweet.

And has the sweetest smile.

I have been working on
some projects, nothing
big but it seems I get started,
get worn out or I have to get other
supplies and that is a 25 min
drive. So, one project gets put on
hold while I wait to head to get
supplies and then I make a mistake,
I start another project.

But, here is one project in
the works still.

My bottle tree.
I have room for three or four
more bottles.
Here is a little history about
bottle trees.

Bottle trees-The roots of the bottle tree date
back to 9th-century Central Africa, particularly
among the Kongo people. In this region, people
believed that spirits (genii or imps) inhabited glass
objects, and that placing bottles outside could
capture and control roving evil spirits. Usually, cobalt blue.

haha....mine is not for that, hence the
reason it is not cobalt, not meaning
to catch spirits/haints.
I went all colors just to confuse them!

Happy Monday evening all,
Pam
