Out and About with Sha and Robert, Allergies
Hello, hello and hello!
Best news, I have power going
to my sheds!
Have not had time to get out
in either one to play, but
I have it!
Sunday, I went to meet some
friends of Roberts and Sha's
(handyman and wife that did my
wiring). They consider me a new
friend and wanted me to meet
others so I would know folks.
Great.
think, he is not well so they go help
out with things. His name is Leroy and
his wife is Wanda.
Super sweet couple.
They own a farm then bought
30 yrs ago. Beautiful place.
It is actually a Century old farm, 126 acres.
You take some back roads and turn down
this really, really long gravel drive, with
a creek running alongside , it, down
in a gulley and surrounded all
around with trees.
Let me share some of my pics with you.
Let me start by introducing you to
the greeting committee,
This is Dolly.
Now, I told her she should
have been named Reba with
all that red hair.
This is Lizzie.
Greeted me also but not
as HAPPY as Dolly.
Standing in front of the house, looking
into what is generally a corn field.
How pretty
The old original home
stood here.
Love the shot below.
One thing for sure,
Hicksville County has the land.
We basically have nothing else,
but we have land.
You all know I love my rocks,
I love animals,
but I have a thing for trees also.
Esp. large wide ones that you
know have been around a long
time.
Not sure, but I think this is actually
two, side by side to make one.
Check out the hole on the other
side. If this was lower, it would be
a great frame for a pic. Shoot
through this side with something
or someone on the other...
Robert had been over and took
down some old trees that
needed to be cut.
What cool area with these trees,
they have a fire pit and sitting area on
the other side.
Isn't it funny how you
change as years go by.
I never was an outdoor sort of
person. Always loved animals, that
never changed, the rocks came
later and the trees came later
also. I love my mornings on the
deck when the temps are like they
are now.
Out here in morning for coffee and
just about every evening till about
11. Couple times I fell asleep out
here and had to get up in the late
night or early morn to go to
bed.
However, spring is a wicked time
to love being out if you suffer
from allergies.
Sleep out prob is a horrible thing
to do.
Hence the reason probably for the
last Monday allergy doc appt.
And.....after years of being
off, I am going back on shots.
I noticed five to ten yrs ago,
the affects of years of shots
finally was wearing off.
I stopped in 06, after ten yrs.
Allergies started coming back little
by little, but moving here sort
of set them off again.
So.....yay, here we go again!
But if it helps with the itchy,
burning eyes, the asthma, and
congestion, and the
POLLEN affect on my skin,
I am all for it.
Now with that said, I have more
pics of my day out and about meeting
new folks with Sha and Robert.
Pics later.
Have a great and amazing day.
Find something to make you smile,
and then laugh,
Pam
