Crane Fly and Dragon Fly, New Toy, Bite, and Misty

I just cut the yard for the
first time today (Thursday).
And these were everywhere.

We call those gallon nippers.

And how I love
dragonflies.

My new toy arrived today.
The most difficult part was getting
the sides of the rack lowered to
get the mower off.

Course getting the plastic off,
took time.
Then I had to undo the bolts
of the metal rack.
They were on there good and it
required going in and getting
the rachet set to take them off.
I had to put the seat on,
the hand operating arms,
connecting the seat release and
connecting the battery.
Checked the oil, put in gas and
got going.

Off I went.
First cut of the yr.and
what a pretty day.

Yard done, in no time at all.
A lot easier on my body then
the riding mower was.
Taught myself with no issues
on how to drive this bad boy.
Proud of myself.

Its SPRING and I am here to
tell you that I am already dealing
with issues.
Hard to tell but its swollen.
While watering the trees last night,
something bit me.
No clue, thought it was a
mosquito, but who knows.
Welcome SPRING!

Misty hanging with me on the
deck Wed.

Such a seriously look,
that never changes.

Ooh, your new toy. Glad it's working out so far. Getting it started is the hardest part, I'm sure.

I'm glad your new 'toy' is gentler on your body. That swelling is obvious to me. Ugh... I enjoy interpreting my cats' expressions. lol Take care, my dear.

PS That's sad about the pet cemetery. When I picked up the cremains of our precious Jezebel, that place was beautiful. The woman welcomed me to visit anytime and enjoy the grounds.
That is some fancy yard ride ya got there! Hello beautiful Misty!

Have fun on your new mower. Hope you don't get too many of those bites though.
Love the photo of Misty

Your poor arm. I have had several mosquito bites already this year. I just attract them, I swear. If there is one person in town they are after - it is always me. I swell up like I have been bitten by a poisonous snake or something - large hard welts that burn and itch. I am feeling your pain!
Love your new toy! I am a fan of both crane and dragon flies.
