The Girls, The Barn, Oz, Sunrise, and Book Markers
Hey, hey,
Hello!
It’s me again.
No, for some that were wondering I am not giving up blogging, I just have my mind set in so much other stuff.
Taking a break on from cleaning while I have my turmeric and peach hot tea.
Yep, feeling better, at least enough to get some order to the house since it’s been going to pot since June. Lots to get done since it’s been so long.
You know I have to wonder about things, people mostly. I got the name of a good handyman from a friend that had used them often. They apparently don’t answer numbers they don’t know, but I have text them twice explaining how I got their name, who I am and what I need. Yet to hear back. Now to locate someone else. Trying to get electric wired to both sheds and wiring in one. The newer one has wiring already.
Plus, I was in contact with the guy who did my dirt, yard and etc last yr. First on last week, and since I have had issues with him being here when he says he will, I am also living on to someone else. I need someone with a machine that can scrap up gravel and move it from in from of my new shed. I want grass there. What is the deal with people? I don’t get it. At least a message back to say not interested, don’t have time, can’t do …, or even F off!!! Something!
Anyway, time to throw some pics in cause we all know a good blog includes pics, a better blog includes pets!
This was this morning and my Misty snuggles.
Lily bit is getting more touchy towards me again, but boy she is such a mess. She goes off into another room and demands I come in there. I am teaching her that mom is not coming at her beck and call. She is literally wearing me out with the demanding calls.
In the pic above, she came to me.
Are your pets as spoiled as mine?
Of course, I am still painting.
I pulled out some pics I have taken to get some ideas. Not wanting to make it just like the pic, but to get that idea.
This is what I started with.
And this is what I came up with. So, I decided it needed to be lightened up.
Amazing what white paint, another brighter green tree and some brightness added to the flowers, can do for a piece!

Then onto a not so realistic painting, on a wood piece.
Picked out things from The Wizard of Oz and slapped it down with my brush. Just now realizing that, duh, I left out Toto. I will head back in there in a bit and find the best spot to plop Toto in! lol

Not sure if I shared the other painting I did from a pic and since I am blogging in my phone I am not bouncing back to see. So if I shared before, I will just grace you with that again.
I took this pic years ago at Paris Landing State Park when my unit from the TBI was there for a conference. I got up at 4:30 to take pics of the sun rising.
Here is what I got out of my brush.
I love the pic and the painting. I actually have an 8x10 of the pic framed and hanging in my hall.

I have also been working on book markers for an up coming craft show. Not having electricity in the shed yet makes doing major crafting, book marks it is.
Doing them with mostly watercolors but a few I have done in markers.
Will have to see how they go.
Do you read?
Book or other?
Use book markers?
What about bookends. Do you use those?
Happiest Saturday to all,
Pam
