More of Oz, In the Tub, and Paints

Wow,
Two days in a row!
I played around some more with my Oz painting.
Notice the purple horse rear?
That would be a horse of a different color you have heard talked about!
Also, right below the horse is Toto! Darla, this is for you, your wait is over.

But look close and you might notice red glitter on the heart clock. 

Poppies also have glitter on them.

Hard to tell but the star on the wand is glittered, silver glitter. 

Might be hard to see in the pics but take a look at Dorothy’s shoes! Plus, I added a vroom for the witch. 


I decided to stop before I screw it up.

After cleaning and painting some, back was a little angry with me so I decided a hot bath was needed.
Settled in the tub, reached for the soap and just as I lifted it, I noticed little things drop into the tub. 
Crap, what is that?
Then I realized, a bracelet I always wear broke. 



But for a second or two I was alarmed! 

Since paintings really don’t sale all that great, but I love to paint so I had to figure a way to put my paintings to a craft for an up coming craft show.
Key holders maybe?

I have had this key holder for a long time, and it was calling for paint. I decided to paint this pic. 

And I am really pleased with it. 

Now I rest and put the paints away.

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Coffee Table Redo

Morning all. Couple weeks ago I found this at a neighbors home put out on the side of the  road. Loaded it up in my Prius. It was heavy and LONG.  Standing it up next to me it comes to my shoulders and I am 5'2. My daughter Amber had told me just that week that she needed a coffee table. I think it was meant to be! Basic maple with a traditional  look and a formica top. that you can't do much with. So after checking with my daughter to be sure size would not be a problem I got to work. I built a frame. My thoughts were that if I made a frame and attached wood to that I could slip it right over the top of the existing table top.  Oops....forgot a step... before making the frame I spray painted the base in an ivory color.  Now with that step added in I  move on to what it looks like with the wood attached  to my frame. Another Chilling Day - Brothers HOuse

House/dog/bird sitting at my brothers house.  Of course this was Lily's first trip there. Dakota  has house sat with me many times.  Lily was not too sure what to think about Ms. Lola. She loves the ledge at the large windows! My brother has some really pretty sunflowers.....all about to give it up for the summer. Wasp drinking from the hummingbird feeder.
