Interesting Info, Painting on Reused Boards, Blooms, Light Switch Plates, Gift, and Clue

Here I am again!

I am hoping that everyone is doing well, able to get out and enjoy
the nice weather, it that is the type of weather you are having. I
know not everyone is seeing spring as of yet.

I found thie next two items interesting. But anytime I can learn things,
I enjoy it.

You know, I am thinking I need to get a life!
Just about all I am doing is staying home and
painting. haha. With that, my number have come up but even with that,
my body seems to be taking its time building up my energy.
However, the last few days, I have had a little
more than what has become my normal.

You know I like repurposing items, and when it comes
to painting of surfaces that I can revamp, I will.
These were gifted to me several yrs ago by Julie at the
venue and they needed love.

I stripped the vinyl lettering off  of all four and
primmed the wood since it had a shiny finish.

Here friends is what I painted on two
of them.

That is painted on two pieces of the wood.
This tree lines the neighbors and
my yard. Cherry Blossoms.

Bradford Pears

Little bitty purple flowers that grow
in the grass. I got down and close
to them.

See, down close and personal.

My grandson Alistur loves
dinos. So I made him this switch
plate for his room.
And Felictiy loves Mermaids.

These extras are for my craft show.

I have a friend (yes, I have friends),
her name is Pam also. Last yr when I had
surgery she had a nicest set of pastals and a
nice set of watercolors to me.
I finally got around to making her
something for doing that for me.
She loves birds so I painted these for her,
included a crochet dishrag, a towel that I
sewed snaps on so that it can
hang on the oven handle. You hang the
snapped part in the rear, and once you hang
it over the handle, you pull the snaps around
and snap in place. I also included a bookmark.

This is a pic that Pam took and posted on
FB. This is what she said,
What a wonderful surprise from my friend
Pam Montgomery Jackson! TWO beautiful original bird
paintings, a handmade dishcloth, a pretty dish towel,
and a bookmark! I don't know what I did to deserve such
a treasure box, but I love it! Thank you, P1!

That was so sweet.

Sat. night I went to Ambers for dinner and
Amber, Will and I played a game of
CLUE.

Not played that is yrs.
Dinner was amazing.
Country style ribs and so much
more. Not sure where Amber learned to
cook cause she will tell you that it
was not from me...
and she is right.

Hoping you are have a great
week,
Pam
