Get Together, and Stars

Saturday evening Amber had a 
get together for Will, he turned 40.
I let the grown ups play cards
later and I kept Brodie. 

He was fussy and Nana Pam loved
on him and got him 
to sleep.
Been awhile since I wore my hair down
and curly.

He was not closing the eyes all 
the way and I watched him rolling
them around. Looked like a little
drunk man.


But oh how sweet.

have to grab it when he
least expects it.

And this guy, Braden...
a mess. Wonder where
he got that sillyness from.


I took this when I got home.
The advantage of no street lights,
nine at night, no flash.




And even with that, I was on 
the sidewalk, porch light
was on as well as my
flood lights and you can still
see the stars.

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Coffee Table Redo

Morning all. Couple weeks ago I found this at a neighbors home put out on the side of the  road. Loaded it up in my Prius. It was heavy and LONG.  Standing it up next to me it comes to my shoulders and I am 5'2. My daughter Amber had told me just that week that she needed a coffee table. I think it was meant to be! Basic maple with a traditional  look and a formica top. that you can't do much with. So after checking with my daughter to be sure size would not be a problem I got to work. I built a frame. My thoughts were that if I made a frame and attached wood to that I could slip it right over the top of the existing table top.  Oops....forgot a step... before making the frame I spray painted the base in an ivory color.  Now with that step added in I  move on to what it looks like with the wood attached  to my frame. Another Chilling Day - Brothers HOuse

House/dog/bird sitting at my brothers house.  Of course this was Lily's first trip there. Dakota  has house sat with me many times.  Lily was not too sure what to think about Ms. Lola. She loves the ledge at the large windows! My brother has some really pretty sunflowers.....all about to give it up for the summer. Wasp drinking from the hummingbird feeder.
