Hi....found this in my hopper to be
posted but I never posted. So, here it
is and I hope I am not repeating myself.

Mentioned that I find peace when I am painting. So it should not sure you that I have paintings to share. 
First..
Then I did this one. I love throwing my head back and looking at the tops of trees. Being in the center of the forest and looking up is great.

Not finished painting door stoppers either. 

But on Saturday I decided to do some serious painting. Detailed and time consuming.

Oh my, I love this one!

My friend Pam, who I used to kitty cat sat for went to Kroger the other day and saw Patrick Duffy aka Bobby Ewing! Apparently, he has his own line of bread out so he was promoting that. 


Now, check out some Misty love.


Then I went back to the craft room and painted this..
I got this idea from a pic I took back in 2010 at 
Paris Landing state park. I did not nail it compared to the pic but I like it. Here is the pic I took back then.

PAM!!!!----those are some of your most beautiful paintings yet!! Very pretty. Gosh yes, I sure do remember Bobby and Pam Ewing, and JR--- watched the show all the time. Went to see their ranch. Southfork, way back in the late 80s or 90 did you watch? I also loved Knots Landing, the spin - off. I never watched Falcon Crest, watched Dynasty , I think, it was called, some.

Bobby Ewing! I remember when I thought he was the most handsomest man ever - while I was sitting up at 10pm nursing babies. What a fun spotting of a celebrity.

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Coffee Table Redo

Morning all. Couple weeks ago I found this at a neighbors home put out on the side of the  road. Loaded it up in my Prius. It was heavy and LONG.  Standing it up next to me it comes to my shoulders and I am 5'2. My daughter Amber had told me just that week that she needed a coffee table. I think it was meant to be! Basic maple with a traditional  look and a formica top. that you can't do much with. So after checking with my daughter to be sure size would not be a problem I got to work. I built a frame. My thoughts were that if I made a frame and attached wood to that I could slip it right over the top of the existing table top.  Oops....forgot a step... before making the frame I spray painted the base in an ivory color.  Now with that step added in I  move on to what it looks like with the wood attached  to my frame. Another Chilling Day - Brothers HOuse

House/dog/bird sitting at my brothers house.  Of course this was Lily's first trip there. Dakota  has house sat with me many times.  Lily was not too sure what to think about Ms. Lola. She loves the ledge at the large windows! My brother has some really pretty sunflowers.....all about to give it up for the summer. Wasp drinking from the hummingbird feeder. Just wondering if these are hot... haha...I will pass on trying them  out though. Bell pepper hiding from  view. Check out the spider web. Loving this shot with the barn in the  background.  This is a form of a bush called Datura stramonium ,  known by the  English names   jimsonweed  or  Devil's snare , the seed pod.  Lily pads.
