Baby Cake Pics, Metal Art, and A Shock,

I did a phone dump so I thought
I would share some of the pics 
I had on there..

Being a photographer I learned this
shot when I was doing weddings
where family members wanted pics also,
so I learned to shoot either around them 
or using them as a prop.

You find ways to get your shot, 
a cute shot when a family member
is up in the way!!

I know I shared this pic of Beckham 
on his first bday.
Love that smile and those 
laughing eyes.
A thought hit me, 
luckily in the head so it did not 
hurt me...lol
Okay, my thoughts was, 
a framed pic of Beckham on his 
bday, the one above for sure and one
of his sister on her first bday.

I did not attend Evies first bday, it was
the yr of COVID so I stayed home, but 
I looked through Amber's pic and found 
the above. 
A frame that encorpates a space side 
by side for two pics!!
In a year, I will probably need to 
redo it by adding the 6th GREAT grand
child on his first bday, he is due the end
of the month. 
But that's okay....I can always
redo.

My oldest brother and SIL sent 
me a gift card for Christmas,
and I purchased two items on 
my list of things I wanted.
One, something I have been 
wanting, a small mig welder.
Yep, a welder. I love welding.
Well, it came yesterday and I have some
pics of things set back that I 
usually send to my brother since he 
loves making this stuff...
But here is one I might have to 
make since I am into 
ROCKS.

That is SO cool.

Starting out things like this would 
be easy.

Now, to find my ump, which I am
still looking for so that I can 
work on my stuff!

I wanted to photograph both girls
at Christmas time. However, 
the ump I was talking about was 
not there. There was several cool 
photo shots on Pinterest and FB reels but
I never got them done.

But, in one attempt of thinking I 
was going to do a whole series of 
pics (and it did not happen) I grabbed
this shot of Lily.

Oh girl, not a good idea!
Reminded me of something my 
rat terrier, Dakota did once.
For those of you that did not get
to follow Dakota aka THE KINGS
adventures, he was a mess.
If you ever saw The Big 
Bang Theroy and you know 
of Sheldon, well, Dakota was Sheldon 
in fur form.
ODD! 
And I loved him.

Once upon a time, when I had some
lighted reindeers in the front 
yard for Christmas, Dakota went out 
to pee...
Only before I could catch him, he hiked
and peed on the deer.
I yelled NO, but it did no good.
Poor baby, came running and crying 
after that shock!

Oh my gosh, our pets!
Speaking of pets, my non box
cat decided to give it a try.

Thinking so enjoyed it.

The Rest of Today

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Coffee Table Redo

Morning all. Couple weeks ago I found this at a neighbors home put out on the side of the  road. Loaded it up in my Prius. It was heavy and LONG.  Standing it up next to me it comes to my shoulders and I am 5'2. My daughter Amber had told me just that week that she needed a coffee table. I think it was meant to be! Basic maple with a traditional  look and a formica top. that you can't do much with. So after checking with my daughter to be sure size would not be a problem I got to work. I built a frame. My thoughts were that if I made a frame and attached wood to that I could slip it right over the top of the existing table top.  Oops....forgot a step... before making the frame I spray painted the base in an ivory color.  Now with that step added in I  move on to what it looks like with the wood attached  to my frame. Forgotten, Old, Square, Coffee and Parada

The other day I mentioned that I  left the house early and  stayed gone for hours, with my  camera. Going to try and work on  my "Forgotten in Hickman Co." album on FB. It is sort of overwhelming that there is so much abandoned  property in this county.  The pic above is on  the main strip and I think it maybe was once a store, or  a place to eat. While I was riding around the county seat of my county, I saw this amazing home. And this one. Centerville has some really old homes. The town was  established in 1823. and in 2020 the population     was 3,489. There is no growth in  this county, the county seat wants to keep it that way.  The town square has more vacant buildings then ones that have something in them. Last time I was there, there was a bakery, that did not make it along with one restaurant that I had eaten at before. This could be one adorable square if Hickman Co. would allow growth.
