YUCK.....

Caleb's (grandson) GF, went to the 
doc on Saturday cause she was not feeling well at
all, she has strep. Saturday, Amber also felt like crap, 
today so she went to the walk in and she has
strep. 
As of right now, I feel fine.
Hoping that continues.

Saturday night, I decided to paint..

I was told today that I I needed to put the paints away and stop secluding myself!?

That is so not me, I love being out and about, or I used to be that way. But seriously, between the fibro and the move, she might just be correct, maybe?

Oh well, moving in to show what else I painted while being secluded!

Now I know most folks do these signs with a circuit machine, and yes I have one, but I actually like hand painting stuff like this. 

Question, how do you feel about homemade gifts?
For being a bad gift giver, okay, maybe not bad, but for being a person who actually has a hard time knowing what to buy for others, I like giving homemade. 
Making usually comes easier for me. 
This yr. I was struggling with what to get the great grands. I then decided to do watercolors for their rooms.

I also found out that Felicity and Alistur needed socks, so I decided I would get them socks also, I engulfed Evie in socks also. I have a cute blanket and pillow for Beckham. That leaves Kyler. Felt they were too young for me to do a series of pics for them. I finally got these framed on Saturday, and wrapped, now under the tree!!!

Tonight, I am not painting………

Tomorrow, I need to get out and have prints made of my Christmas card and get those in the mail. Tree is up, comes with lights in it, and as of now, that is all that is on the tree. It might actually remain that way. Just don’t have the energy to give to all the decor this yr. 
Do you have your tree up? What other decor do you put out? If not, when you decorate? 

I have basically managed nothing today, but I prob need to go rummage through the kitchen and decide what’s for dinner!

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Forgotten, Old, Square, Coffee and Parada

The other day I mentioned that I  left the house early and  stayed gone for hours, with my  camera. Going to try and work on  my "Forgotten in Hickman Co." album on FB. It is sort of overwhelming that there is so much abandoned  property in this county.  The pic above is on  the main strip and I think it maybe was once a store, or  a place to eat. While I was riding around the county seat of my county, I saw this amazing home. And this one. Centerville has some really old homes. The town was  established in 1823. and in 2020 the population     was 3,489. There is no growth in  this county, the county seat wants to keep it that way.  The town square has more vacant buildings then ones that have something in them. Last time I was there, there was a bakery, that did not make it along with one restaurant that I had eaten at before. This could be one adorable square if Hickman Co. would allow growth. Catchy sign... haha....don't even ask me who the mayor is now either.. not a clue.  WOW.....August sure did move through really fast! Here it is Sept. and the  fall season is knocking on the door, then Halloween and  the holidays will be here. Always heard this stuff flies by the older you get, so  true. CRAP....I  saw this the day after  I painted my Christmas card. I have been thinking of redoing the one I just painted, I  like the idea, but the pulling it off just is not doing anything for me. I will prob trash this  one and redo it by changing a few things.  My thought process is still the same, I just have to study my thoughts and  figure out how to do it.  Wed. evening, I had to drop Braden out at the farm of a teacher from his school.
