Elfing, Melting Heart, Great Grands, Christmas Eve, Santa and Shorts, Reflection, and Christmas Ornaments

This elf was tired on
Christmas Day so I sat
upon my rear while Amber finished
up the meal.

Yesterday I shared the group pic
of us on Christmas day.
Cropped this one so that you could
see the whole outfit...except
the hat, I forgot it and left
it in the house.

I am showing this pic again with
you for a reason.
I was looking at this pic last night
on FB when I saw something.
I have my hand resting on Felicity's
shoulder, in which she reached up and
placed her hand over mine.

Oh my, this girl melts my
heart.
That was not the only sweet
thing this girl did on Christmas
Day.
I sat in the floor with the greats
as they opened their gifts. Each one
so excited they kept calling
my name to look. After gifts were
done, I continued to sit in the floor.
Felicity walked around my back,
placed her hand on my shoulder,
leaned over and kissed me on the
top of the head, and walked on.
Wondering if she even realized
what she did, but it touched
my heart.
Everleigh on the other hand
touched me when she
opened her paintings.
Said, "wow", and then
smiled, at what point she said,
"pretty"...

These babes make me melt.

Oh, those sweet faces!

Yesterday, Sunday,
we 70 degrees.
Today, our high is going to be
48!!
Big change.
Christmas Eve headed over to
Ambers, it was 70. Could be one
reason I never found the Christmas
spirit.
However, like I have stated
time and time again,
we have some amazing fall
sunsets.

Christmas Eve.
This church is down my road,
and many times I have come by
at sunset and wishing for a
good one.
Christmas Eve did not let me down.
I have always wanted to get a shot
of it with the bell and pretty skies
behind.
I even got the sunset over
my shoulder!
The day before Christmas Eve I
saw these Santas in CVS and told
Amber that I figure the Santa in the
shorts would be the one visiting
Tennessee.

That evening, I enjoyed some down
time after a full last couple of
days, and enjoyed the reflection of
the lights.
Nope, tree never got decorated and
yes, it is still standing.

When do you take your tree down?

Also, Christmas Eve I thought
about the fact that I have not made
any ornaments this yr.
To get past that, I
whipped a couple out!
I had been seeing this one of
FB. However, I added
my touch..
buttons.

One more. Forgot to
take a pic all finished.
I put a button in the center
of the bow. Attached to the
star was a piece of paper,
painted with a brown paint with
lots of water mixed with it, to give it
an aged look. Upon the paper
I wrote, Christmas, 2025, cause
this is the one Amber wanted and
I always date them.

Isn't it great what you can do
with
STICKS out
of my yard, I had
the ribbon and the buttons
on hand.
You know, my hand, the craft
hoarder hand!
lol

Have a fantastic Monday,
Pam
