My Girls, Thanksgiving and Funny Face Day, Practicing With Flowers

Friday after the big over stuff, gobble till
you Wobbled day, the girls and I crashed.
It was cold, I was worn out, so
we pretty much hugged the couch for the day.
They were so into it that it
did not bother them to be this close.
Or should I say that Lily did not
mind it! I love when the temps turn
off colder cause Lily Bit seems to need
the warmth of the back of Mom's legs.

I love this view, seems to make Lily look
like she has the longest legs!
Don't get me wrong, she is a slender,
long legged girl but not as long as they '
look in this pic!

I am hoping that you all had a great
turkey day. Personally, I don't care for turkey,
I like ham so I always pick up a spiral cut
ham for the big event.
I also make sure that I get a can of
this...

You see I purchase a can just for me,
I love it, but I am the only one that eats it.
DJ refers to it as "OLD people" food.
However, image my surprise what Boog, 7 yrs
old started eating it. He loved it. One point, after
dinner I look over and he is eating a slice like a cookie.
YOU GO BOY!!!

Me being one of the best photographers
around (😂😂), I failed to take a pic
of the whole spread.
WHAT? Yep, I was just hungry.
But Amber out did herself again.

However, when I was not stuffing my face,
which consisted of a spoonful of everything,
yep, seriously, I don't eat much, I did snap
some pics.

Here is Boog talking to Amber,
his Nini. You know, when you start mixing
generations, and kids that have other
grannies, and gramps, more than the
normal 2 per relative side, you have to come
up with interesting names.
So, this is Boog talking to Nini.

Of course Emmy Lou (dog) is looking on,
cause she is afraid a piece of food will
drop and she will miss it.
Again, its about the food.

Little Ms. Sassy talking to Paw paw,
Pe Paw, Gramps....I don't know.

Official day to start thinking
of Christmas, trees and decor.
I thought about it, but still have not
managed to get it up.

Anyway, after the stuffing (that is the stuffing of
each of us) the kids and I almost literally laid out on
the couch, but we had to save room for others...
DARN, a good nap would have been
nice.
Since we could not nap, we decided it was a
good day for "silly pic day".

Oh my gosh, I do something and they have to
follow Nana Pam.
LOL

Even got Pe Paw (oops) I think it is
actually Pa Paw in the act also.
He needs training on what a silly face is.

However, Caleb my first born bratty
grand, that I helped raise till he was six,
almost has the right idea.

Even Amber, having been raised her whole
life by
ME, needs work.

Sweet littlest Kyler, he has lots of time
for Nana Pam to teach him how it is done.

Emmy Lou have the right idea.

2.5 months old and he is so tiny.
He has issues with allergies to the milk
so they had to try other things. He is doing
better on it now, and he is filling out.

He fought sleep, but not in a crying way, he
would just wiggle to keep himself awake.
Course, it don't help due to the milk issue. that
we have to keep him in an UP position for
30 mins after he sucks down the bottle.

That is really ok, cause Nana Pam
has no issues loving on him while he
sits up for 40 mins.

Now, seriously, how sweet is this pic?

And this pic.

The other greats were not there, Hannah (mom)
was hanging with her family, watching over
her great granny, who past on Friday. They
wanted as much time with her as they
could get.
Also, Wil's boys were not there cause their
mom had dinner the same time.

Last few days, I have been playing around
with flowers. I have been watching painting
videos and teaching myself to paint different
flowers.

There are some different styles of painitng
out there that is pretty new I think. Loading the
brush with several colors and using different ways
of turning your brush to get some neat results.
I can't do it.
You read that correct.
I am having issues learning to do a
stroke and then turn the brush in movement
to get another look. Of loading the brush with
two to three different colors to get what you
want on one stroke and not having to
layer on your colors.
I like that, but I can't get it to
so what the video does, plus,
imbedded in my mind, that is not the
way you paint.
Painting is buliding your colors
on top of each other for the look
you want.
So, with that said, I will conti to
paint the way I was taught.
My teach would be proud.
But on the videos I can learn the
flowers they are painting but paint
them the way I know.
I jumped off playing on paper and
tried a board.

What do you think?

Oh yeah, almost forgot tell you that I pulled out of the
craft fair that I worked so hard on for weeks.
The temps tuned off cold and I knew my body would not
be able to stay out in that. Oh, if I failed to tell you,
cause I got in late, my booth was going to be outside.
And since I have been dealing with some
butt kicking pain of late, I decided it would be best
not to be sitting out in the cold.
I will pack up my stuff and wait for next yr,
in hopes I apply early and get a booth inside.

With that said, I sure hope you are a great time
with family and or friends and that
Gobbled, ang Gobbled and had to wobble home!
Pam
