Walking Old, Sweet Words, Kids, Explosion in TN

Okay, lets blog about something a
little different than my normal.
You know me by now, I blog about things
I see, things I hear, thoughts that
come into my head, and all sorts of things.
Today I am going to start this post
with something that my 15 yr old
grandson said to his mom the other
day. BUT....first let me set the
scene for you.

I took B
to his doc for his ADHD
checkup. That took place in Dickson
and since there, I had a couple of errands
to run. Then we were going to run to
his moms work and pick up a desk.
He went in to let his mom know that
we were there and as she came out,
I got out of the car, did that number
I do called, "straightening up".
B looked at his mom and said, "do
all old people walk like that"!!!

On Saturday evening
I had just gotten home from getting
groceries, put the stuff in the fridge
but left the other for later, sat down
with a couple of apples when I got a
call. Boog, Felicity and Kyler were at
Amber's house. Felicity was wanting
to know where Nana Pam was.
Amber said she waltzed right in and
asked the question. Then when Amber
told her that I was at home,
she said, "I love Nana Pam".
Made my heart melt so when I
talked with Felicity, I asked her did she
want me to come over,
I guess you know the answer!

Trinti putting Felicity's hair up.

The habit that needs breaking.

Watching tv. I told you
a few post back about how far
this boy has come. I actually
got hugs and kisses from this boy
again last night.

Dad and Felicity horse playing.
She found Nanas sunglasses.
I let her put them on but I
would not let her play with them cause
they are scripts.

Fishtail ponytail.

I see that the silly gene
past to her.

And Kyler cuddling with Nana.

With that said, not sure if
it made the national news like
Ed the Zebra did, but we had an
explosion 45 mins away from me on
Friday. It was pretty bad, a whole
building at a ammo plant wiped away,
taking about 16 people with it.

Before and after pic of
the building.
The company produces energetic
materials — explosives, propellants, and
munitions — for military, aerospace, and commercial
 demolition purposes.
The explosion took place around
745 am, and like it said, it
is 45 mins away, but the walls
in my house shook and I actually
heard the explosion.
It was reported to be heard
and felt
the county over from me.
Prayers to those families.
Goes to show you, you
start your day, each day,
not knowing what will be
next.

Pam

Awww, your grands are so precious. They are such fun most of the time and then there are the brat times. We love them just as much when they are brats.

So sad about that explosion.

Have a fabulous day and week, Pam. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
