Leave Changing, Lunch, Skeletons, Personality Coffee, KKK, and Mushrooms

Morning blogland friends,
been moving a tad slower the
last three days, as if I don't move
slow enough anyway! The fall
seasonal crap hit me.
Stuffy head,
stuffy nose, until it
decides it wants to run,
usually upon bending over,
ears fill full, throat rough feeling,
but the worst was hitting my
lungs. I have to be careful with that
since I have asthma. Actually, I
have seasonal asthma. Spring and fall,
don't usually play pretty with me.

I was able to ward off the spring effects
with allergy meds that I started taking
the first of March, which I am still
taking.  But the fall crap grabbed me
three days ago. Yesterday, being the worse.
I was having trouble with my
lungs being tight, but we have rain
coming in Sat. evening so I had to
mow, one last time on Friday.
Seriously thought I would be
making a trip to the hospital.
But thanks to my inhaler and meds
I finally broke that up in my tubes.
Now, it's the coughing up crap now.
Maybe the rain will help.

That is the bad part of fall,
but look, the good part is trying
to pop out.
Colors are starting to change.
Leaves are getting lighter
in color.

Some are further along than
others.

I really did not feel like I wanted
to be out and about on Friday but,
I had to pick a grand up at school
and drop him at his house, so
I decided to go pic up somethings
in Dickson.

Number 1 was my charge card, I left
it Wed at a restaurant when I
stopped for lunch.
By the way I am learning that
the amount you pay to eat
out these days does not
mean that the meal is good.
Hot ham and cheese, okay, but
not anything to write home about
and the onion rings, needed to be
cooked a tad longer.

Now back to my errands, number
2 on yesterdays, list was Wally World.
Just a few things to pick up and that
ended up being over a 100 bucks.
Grocery store runs depress me.

Anyway, on my way home, I took
the back roads.
I love the sights of Halloween.
I have learned that Hickman Co and Dickson
Co. love their skeletons, which means
I love it!

However, as I rounded the bend
the sight I saw, had me turning around
and heading back the way I came for
a better pic.

I busted out laughing.
But, as a one time clown for
bday parties and Halloween fun,
I have to say, some folks bring
a bad name to clowns.

But, being stuck across the street
from a home, tucked in the woods,
this made me laugh.

Even the stores get in on the
skeleton fun.

I have told you several times
in the past that we have no fast
food places around me, but I have
found a cute little place to stop
every so often. About 20 mins from
the house, Marybell's. Marybell's started
out as a local side of the road flower
stand, or at least that is what it was
when I moved here. About a yr ago, they
went in, revamped and now it's a cute
little restaurant. I have had breakfast
there twice this week.

You guess know me well enough to
know that I love when someone
shows their own personality.
Naming their coffee's for
school or
Halloween would get my attention
for sure!

I had the Basic Witch and
it was so good.

I have shared parts of Hickman Co. with
y'all a lot. I am pretty sure that I
have never shared the fact that here in
rural Hickman Co. TN we have the
KKK!

What the hell, you thought that
was in the past of Tn history!
We have it, only it's a tad different
than how you probably think of
the KKK.

This is the
K ~ the KEG
K ~ Kountry
K ~ Kowboys

haha....threw you off on that one,
didn't I?

It is a spot of land, where folks that
live in RVs, 5th wheels or even pop up
campers live.

This would be no running water,
no electricity except maybe a
generator.
Truth be told, there are several
set ups like this in the county.
Give you another one to think on,
down the highway, there is a storage
unit place with a RV next to it, where
the person that works there lives.
There was a pool set out behind it,
a small swing and grill.
Tell me, how does this happen?
The lines between business and
personal property are so fuc...messed up!

Before I headed out to cut
on Friday, I looked into the
backyard and two of these things,
golf tee's with golf balls on them,
was standing in the yard.
According to Pic This app
this is a Agaricaceae.
According to the app it says that
there are many edible and widely cultivated
mushrooms in this family but there are
also toxic ones.
I don't like eating mushrooms.
I don't really know if it's the taste
or the feel of them in my mouth, but maybe
it's also cause I would not trust them,
to be toxic or not!
That is Pam logic, even though I
am not going to go out picking to eat.

But with that said, strange looking
thing to look out and see in the yard.
Do you eat mushrooms?
How do you fix them?

Hoping you have a great day,
Pam

Golly, that sounds grim. I hope you are feeling much better now. Those clowns cracked me up too! I like them better than the skeletons!

Feel better soon. I hate being sick and I know you do too. I don't have allergies and I'm so happy about that.

Love all the decorations. We enjoy seeing them here too.

You lunch doesn't look very good at all and onion rings need to be cooked properly. Mushy isn't good at all.

Have a fabulous day and week, Pam. Big healing hugs to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. ♥
