Happily Framed, Costumes, Skeletons and the Lot
all pets are up and safe. Give out
lots of candy and don't let
the spooks get you!
Also, stay away from
the veil, its really thin
tonight.
Saturday night parade night
was so much fun. I took 100's
of pics of people, kids and floats.
I talked with the lady at the
chamber and although people
volunteered in the past to shoot,
they never went to the
extent I went to.
Just a cute few pics
of folks waiting for the parade.
They were so thrilled with the
frame and everyone wanted
their pics taken.
Wanting their pic made was not
just the kids.
Adults, some in costume
and some not, wanted in on the
pics.
Even this guy, I wanted past him
and he said, "can I have my pic
taken"?
The costumes were great.
Check out the one below.
This was so cool. When the
boy walked it looked like
he was a dino.
Teen boys wanted in on the
frame act also.
I stepped away from the folks
long enough to take pics of some of
the decor in the square.
This one was really neat, he was
spitting out stuff.
I would think a lot of work
went into this.
Oh look, Minnie Pearl and
Elvis.
By the way, Friday was Minnies
bday also.
I looked at the owner and I said,
"always wanted to be a Dalmatian"?
She laughed, nope,, she's a cow.
Oops, can tell that I was not
raised on the farm.
So cute.
I might pick out a couple
of float pics but generally if you
seen one float, you seen them all.
But this is not something you
see all the time, me getting
into the costume.
And off I went.
Afterwards, Evie, Amber
and I had dinner.
They were watching the parade
from way down the hill and I
was not going down there and
chugging back up. LOL
I enjoyed doing what I have
not been out to do in almost
two yrs.
Felt good getting out
talking, being silly and messing with
people while having my camera in
my hand.
Hoping all is well with all of
you,
Pam
