Girls Bedtime, Cards, Rooster, and Knocking Things Off
Tuesday night I started to
bed and Lily had already took over
the pillow next to me.
And Misty was comfy
on the couch.
Course she is one of those
cats that loves to laying
on things.
I made some cards to send out
for friends and family.
My mom has two living sisters,
we stay in contact via FB but
every so often I surprise them
with a car for no reason.
This one is for Aunt Martha,
she is a beautiful 73 yrs old,
and her and I talk the most.
I thought this pic was
cute of the wind blowing the
hat, so I wrote,
Blowing in
"to say hi and check on you".
On the one to mom's younger
sister, Donna who is always
tagging me on witchy stuff on
FB I put the lady riding a
broom and it says, "Riding in"
and on the inside it basically
said the same as Martha's.
This next car was for a friend,
Treva. Months ago she had a
really strange accident. Walking
through the yard, tripped, fell,
ramming the corner of her phone,
into her eye. After several surgeries,
and months of care it appears that
she will be able to keep the eye,
and see with it but she still
has a surgery coming up.
I can't believe I mailed it on
Monday and on Tuesday she
had it. She said it made her
day.
Now this is for a friend who
had to have a device implanted
and it operates on batteries.
HAHA.....She will love it.
It's all about bringing a smile and
a laugh when needed.
I don't buy eggs often, but when
I do, I always saved the cartons for
James and Julie. But do to critters
sneaking in and killing the chickens, they
decided to say good bye to them.
That meant I had five cartoons that
needed to go somewhere. Well, about two
mins up the road, there is a house that
has a bunch of chickens. I stopped and
asked would they be interested in them.
Yes, of course they said.
So when I have one I will
put it in a bag and hang on the fence.
Good, they get reused and I have
a place to take them.
This is one of their guys.
The teen son picked him up and
brought him over to the
fence for me to see. I just petted
him but he said I could hold it.
I passed on that since I was
heading out on errands.
He is a pretty guy. Those of you that own pets,
know that they are always changing
things up. Esp. cats.
Lily has always had her special
ways of waking me up in the morning but
Misty just took to sitting and
starring at me, which she realized
that, watching me was not
working. She took on a new
approach, jumping up on the hutch in
in my room and knocking things off.
ROCK
When I confronted her with what
today, in the morning ,I think you know what I mean!
ROCKS
Same ROCKS with a book.
I had read that cats do not
like foil, or the noise of it. So
I had this spread out on the hutch.
Only, it did not bother Misty,
she got up in there and
messed the foil up, and continued
to keep knocking things off
the hutch.
Then it hit me, where were the
rocks coming from?
A basket, she was literally, scooping
them out with her paw and throwing
on the floor.
When I confronted her with what
I think she is trying to tell me
that she did not do it!
But I rolled over and watched, it
was her.
So. on Tuesday I layered books on the
edge of the hutch so she could not
get up there. Oh, how wrong I was,
this morning I hear large books
hitting the floor. She managed to make
it to the second shelf and started to
work on knocking things off.
To stop her at 3 this morning,
I made this a fix...
a fitted sheet over the hutch.
I only hope this will not have
to be my room decor for long.
I used to think having pets
was easier than raising kids. I
used to say that at least the
pets did not talk back.
haha....not with these
girls, they talk back!!
But, we will see in the wee hours of
the morning tonight
Have a wonderful time,
Pam
