Gates, Rockhounding, Costumes, Witchy Memes and BOO
Good morning, afternoon,
evening, whatever applies to all!
I love gates, I esp like when
gates or fences are dressed up with
creativity and personality.
However, Al really makes knowing
the difference between real and
fake hard to tell. The way I do it,
and it still gets me at times is,
if its bright in color, sharp and perfect,
it's generally a fake.
Pretty sure the above is
fake.
On that note, this is not fake.
This looks a lot like my car.
HAHA.
Kidding.
Rockhounds are a different type
of breed.
Mine has been loaded down before
but not like this. Course, its been
loaded down with rocks, wood and
even hay before. Keeping it clean has
become a challenge. Which reminds me,
I have wood I need to unload so I
can go get more.
Woman about 15 mins from me
is selling off a bunch of wood at
amazing prices. He hubs loved to build
and he passed last yr.
Project in mind, going to go
get some larger pieces.
Halloween is almost here!
For yrs, trick or treats have
been lacking. I actually think I
had the most in 2020 with COVID
around but out here in no
where's ville, I have
NONE. That is okay, I don't buy
candy that I will have to eat.
Do you have little rug rats
that come knocking on your door
this time of year? On an average,
store bought or homemade costumes?
I have always loved DIY'ing
costumes. For years I did clowns.
Always a happy, cool clown.
Smile drawn on and colored in.
In between the clown decor I love
a good witch.
and I pretty much have not done
a clown in FOREVER.
Got rid of my outfit as a matter
of fact.
This year though, since I am
shooting the parade, I will be
going as a cat.
with which while shooting is what
I need.
But I really do love my
witchy stuff!
Do you dress up for Halloween?
I have for years until maybe the
last four or so. Although my mom
thought I was a nut, she liked when
I went to house to debut my
costume of the yr. I think mom
went through my life wondering
where I came from since I was
not like her in so many ways.
If you don't dress up now, did
you used to?
It was easy when I had kids to
do it and get away with it,
working was a given also,
I love when times presented themselves
for me to throw on the
costume. Guess I have that kid
inside of me that loved Halloween and
still does.
When you dressed up, what was
your go to costume?
Next yr I might dress up and
then do the local trick or trunk.
FYI for those who want to know, and
even if you don't, I am putting it out
there~
I have of course, my witch stuff.
I don't have the outfit for a clown
anymore but I still have my makeup.
I have a 20s outfit, and a 60's outfit.
I have a black, red, blonde, and gray
wigs.
Kid at heart on Halloween.
Now for a funny Halloweeny of a such
story~
in 2006 my sis in law, Lori and I went
cruising.....via the ocean!
It was Halloween time.
Our cabin had two beds, and Lori
took the one closer to the door. Before
getting to the beds though you had to
walk past the BR.
I woke at one point, I think hearing
a noise, looked over my shoulder and
saw (in the dark) a figure standing in
the hall coming from the BR.
Thinking it was Lori, I yelled
out...
Then from the bed I hear Lori say,
"what are you doing?"....
haha..
Upon turning on the light, I
realized what I saw was a towel
hanging on a hook right next
to the hall!
Fun times. Lori and I laughed and
laughed about that.
One more thing for you to laugh
about ~
Taking Halloween out of the mix, I
used to do some bday for kids as a clown.
Those days were so fun, my kids where
younger and I would take them to
my mom's while I did the party.
My kids hated to ride with me,
dressed as a clown.
They were literally get in the
floor of the car to avoid being seen
with me, cause I got
LOTS of looks.
Of course, I have fun with it. Waving at
everyone I came up next to.
SMILE!
BOO,
Pam

I haven't really dressed up for Halloween since I was a kid. I did make a witch hat headband (tiny witch's hat on a headband), and that's my go-to for school on Halloween. I just dug it out as I pulled a 7th grade science class for that day.
