Hot Springs Ark., Toys, Fur Love, EX-Christmas Card, Skyline, Ponder and Paintings

In an earlier blog I told you
about my nephew who is out
and about traveling.
On Sat. morning I saw that he
was in Hot Springs Ark..
With pics, the question
came to mind as to what
heats that water!
You know me well enough
to know that if I questioned it,
I was going to look it up and read
about it, and this is what I found.

How is the water heated

 in hot springs ark?

That is interesting!
I probably should have jumped in
the car and dipped in the springs
myself! haha...
Course to be honest, I am somewhat
fearful about getting in anyway.
With flesh eating virus'
popping up all over, its sort
of scary.

But back to some fun,
just in case you do not realize it,
if I am in the right mood,
shopping with me could be either
fun or a challenge.
With that said, I sort of
got lost in the toy section of
Five Below the other day.

LOOK - they have that thing
that rolls around on the
metal bars. Only, it has
changed a lot since I loved
to play with these.
Bad thing, this was sealed,
I could not play with it.
Maybe, I should have bought one.

I think it was Ray's when we were
growing up but I liked looking
into these. So different from
sitting in front of the tv or
a video game the kids do now.

Then there is Mr. Potato Head.
Not looking like this
guy has changed much at all.
But it's funny thinking that
kids still play with these.

No, I did not buy any toys.
I did not play with any of these
I shared. I did however, play
with all the squishy toys for stress
or sensory.
I must have picked them all up
and squeezed them!

Fur loving on Saturday morning.

I think I told you before that
I can tell a difference in
Lily when the season starts to
change. Here she is hanging
close to me again on
Saturday.
Also, this is her new
comfy spot. She will hang with
this area for a few days, maybe
even weeks but then she will
all of a sudden change on me.
If you have had a cat, you
know how this works, and if
you have not a had a cat,
think of a toddler, one day
it's all about this, the next its
this....change is a given with
both the cats and
kids!

Did I mention that
I had finished my
Christmas card a few
weeks ago? I think I
did, well, I am going to
share it with you now,
but I am not using this
one. I think I also mentioned
that I did not like it, so
I am going to do another one.
For those that wonder
about the zebra,
it's Ed. The national
news Zebra that got
lost and wandered around
Tn for days.

Take a look see at this,
Nashville, TN 2015
2024!
CRAZY.

This gentleman does not
have anything to really do with
the Nashville skyline,
except in pen and ink, and
paintings of Nashville.
This is Phil Ponder.
I don't expect that my
blogging friends will
know this name but he is
well known in Nashville.
Actually, he lives in the
hood I grew up in.
I also worked with
one of his daughters at
the Blind School.
Just the other day he
was on FB showing off his
NEW drawing of the
skyline.

Since 1979, Phil Ponder has painted historic structures in
Middle Tennessee. He is best known for his limited
edition prints of skylines and famous buildings. His
unique style is accomplished through a
combination of pen and ink/watercolor
 techniques emphasizing great
 detail and warmth of color.
What is not stated in
the write up about
Mr. Ponder is, this man
has beat cancer twice.
He is a very friendly and
welcoming gentleman,
not to mention, really
talented!

Hoping you enjoyed,
Pam
