Pinecone, Cat House, Pad, Zoo, Vandy Appt. and Cory's Car

I have read this once upon
a time and of course, like a lot
of my useless knowledge, I must
have filled it away in one of those
many file cabinets in my head!

Yes, I have been painting away,
which surprises me somewhat.
Going through a depressed state or
time in your life usually pulls you
from all the things that make you happy.
However, painting pulled me in and
right now, it is making me happy
and I am enjoying it.
Everything else, not so much.
But here are a couple that I have
turned out the last few days.

I am going to put some wire,
rope or something on each one
for hanging on front doors.

I have a reason for doing all
this painting.....always a reason
in life for all things!
I was going to put them in
the Christmas craft show that
is held in our county seat, but I
was shocked to see that they
wanted 50 bucks for a booth.
I think that is a tad high.

I worry that in this rural
(somewhat poor) county that things
like this would not be considered a
must and I would be out 50 bucks.

The county next to us, where my
grandson lives is having a
festival in Sept. There booths
are 25, so I thought, I would try
there. Found out about this one
too late so, I will keep making,
painting and storing maybe till
March when that county starts
taking vendor applications for the
Sept. festival.
If I don't see, then I have
a stash for gifts when I need one.
haha
Painting is making me happy
so I am not going to rock that
boat. Paint on!!

I started this post on Thursday and
I have run out of coffee and
time. I have to do makeup
and get dressed to drive
an hour to Vanderbilt.
I am going just for my
blood
to be taken.
"I want to suck your blood"

I said the above in my
Bela Lugosi voice when he
was a vampire and he said,
"I want to drink your blood"!!!!
Okay, that might have aged me
for sure.
Once blood has been gotten,
I will run errands.
Then home.
Blood is for the genetic testing for
the family heart issues.
And off I go...
more later gator.

Well, that was painless, it
was done via swabbing my cheek.
COOL..
and I took my best veins.
HAHA
I laugh about that but you would have
to see my veins to understand,
I have AWESOME
PLUMP, easy to get veins. The genetic
ladies laughed when I told them I
brought my good veins and they
looked at them!
Now we wait, four to six weeks.
If I have the mutation of the same
gene Ray has, then both my kids
will need to be tested. Chances are,
they will also have it.

Speaking of my kids, my daughter
Amber calls most days on her
way home, but with that, if she sees
I have been on FB in the morning,
she calls then too.
My son Cory calls about two maybe
three times a week, on his way
home from work.
So thankful that we were not talking
last night on his way home...
cause this happened, and if I had
heard this, I would have freaked.
His car.

Their car.

OOPS!
I said, "son you did a bang up
job" and he said, "I was always
told if you do something, do it
up right"!
I tried to tell him that is not
always the case!
